Axe N Dagger unveils smash rooms at bigger Toowoomba site
A popular Toowoomba business is launching a thrilling new way to let out you built-up stress. Here’s how you can gear up in protective gear and let loose.
Axe N Dagger is opening a thrilling new way to de-stress, let loose, and release your built-up rage.
The popular axe-throwing experience has moved to a bigger and better venue, and this weekend it will open new smash rooms.
“Toowoomba needs something that’s an outlet for people to come and get rid of some frustration and have a bit of fun at the same time,” Axe N Dagger owner Tina Bugg said.
Ms Bugg said she loved to see how their activities impacted people.
“People will come in a little bit frustrated or stressed initially, but they’ll go out feeling a lot more relaxed,” she said.
“It’s really cool to be able to send people back out into the world a little bit more level.”
As well, $2 from every smash room booking will be donated to Lifeline for mental health support.
The popular business is now based in the Vettiger Vidler Engineering building at 13 Laurel Street.
The new location is almost double the size, and they now have 10 axe lanes, four dagger lanes, and four smash rooms.
The couple is also creating a miniature mine site, which will have remote control excavators, trucks and diggers.
Axe throwing is ages 12 and up, knife throwing is ages 18 and up, and the smash rooms are ages 16 and up.
