MAFS bride Melissa Sheppard’s shocking sex bombshell: ‘Messy, sloppy’

Married At First Sight’s Melissa Sheppard left jaws on the floor with her explicit sex confessions during a live radio interview this morning.

Married At First Sight star Melissa Sheppard has hit back at critics and revealed more X-rated details about her sex life with on-screen “husband” Josh White.

Appearing on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday in the wake of last night’s bombshell episode, Melissa, 41, claimed their intimate moments were “quite awful”.

“It was just really sloppy and messy … I wouldn’t say that was hot and heavy and intimate,” the hairdresser told the radio hosts.

“It wasn’t how I imagined to have an amazing sex life with someone.”

She added that – despite being branded as completely sex-focused – she’d have been happy to have sex with her partner “two to three times” a week.

“I didn’t think it was asking too much.”

Melissa’s explicit details didn’t stop there, with the mum-of-one expressing her disappointment that despite being intimate with Josh around “five times”, they’d never engaged in oral sex.

“That never happened … There was no kissing, it was just very transactional,” she admitted. “It was just physical, that was quite awful.”

The controversial bride also went into damage control after coming across on screen to many viewers as insensitive and sex-obsessed following Josh’s shocking claims about her attempts to “control” him.

“I took sex off the table,” she insisted.

“I was like, ‘Right, I want to get to know this guy, he’s just seeing me as only a sex siren and there are more elements to me. And I could see (producers) were pushing the sex on him a lot and I was trying to come back from that.

“But they had a narrative and they were pushing that, and we were in this tunnel.”

Melissa then accused Josh of being a “different person” in front of the cameras.

“Josh is a very different person in front of me and he would go to (film) these vox-pops (interviews with producers). I felt like I was sleeping with a secret assassin,” she said.

“He was just running off. He would be so kind to my face and then behind closed doors would break down, and I had no idea. I don’t feel like he is one hundred per cent honest.”

The situation spiralled during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.

MAFS viewers were left gobsmacked during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony when Josh accused Melissa of being “controlling”, claiming she had attempted to restrict his activities during the experiment.

“I want to now speak my truth and talk about some of it,” he told the group.

“I think there is a significant issue in this relationship about control. In this relationship, Melissa has attempted to restrict my access to the TV.

“She’s attempted to restrict my access to my mobile phone. She’s trying to place limitations on the times that I can read my books.

“She’s trying to tell me when I can go out, where I can go out, who I talk to, when I talk to them.

“She has used degrading and dehumanising language to me – questioning my manhood. So, when we talk about getting at the core of the issue, that is the core of the issue right there.”

During the explosive ceremony, Melissa then made disparaging comments about the couple's sex life, claiming that she felt like the dominant figure.

“Josh is really conservative and I respect that. But then it’s just like it suppresses me and then I feel like I’m the alpha in the relationship,” she said.

Even as the experts appeared visibly shocked by her emasculating remarks, Melissa doubled down.

“I just feel like he’s not a big man,” she told them.

“I don’t feel protected by Josh, and I feel like I’m protecting him and I feel no protection or love or support or anything from him. It’s not something I’m used to. I’m used to a man just, you know, I want a manly man.”

Melissa stunned her castmates and the experts even further when she went into detail about their unsatisfactory physical relationship.

“It wasn’t kissing, loving how I imagined to have an amazing sex life with someone. It was just physical. We were really drunk and it was just really awkward,” she said.

The revelations were so toxic that relationship expert John Aiken was forced to step in when Josh chose to “leave” but Melissa picked “stay”, which would have kept them in the experiment for another week.

“I’m gonna do something I’ve never done before,” he says. “I have never seen a relationship like this before in the experiment. We’re not going to subject you any longer to this.”
