According to Page Six multiple sources have confirmed “divorce is imminent” for the Hollywood power couple after six years of marriage.

“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” one source reportedly said.

Kim has reportedly hired divorce lawyer to the stars Laura Wasser, who has previously represented her and other high-profile clients including Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears.

Kim, 40, has stepped out without her wedding ring and Kanye, 43, spent the holidays without his family at his Wyoming ranch.

“Kim got Kanye to go up there (Wyoming) so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source added.

The source said that while Kim was invested in helping Kanye deal with his mental health struggles in the past, “now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot”.

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy sh--t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Another source said Kanye “is completely over the entire family … he wants nothing to do with them,” adding he eventually found their reality show “unbearable”.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE KARDASHIANS AND JENNERS?

They’re worth billions of dollars with personal brands that are so famous, their names are practically shorthand.

Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, their “momager” Kris Jenner, and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner shocked fans last year when they announced the end of their long-running E! reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians (also known as KUWTK).

The show documented every aspect of their lives from babies and bombshells to proposals, weddings and divorces, and notably, the aftermath of Kim’s Paris robbery in 2016. It has served as a TV equivalent of a press release, pushing the Kardashians and Jenners’ agendas (Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Kris served as executive producers, playing a key role in the editing process).

The final season of KUWTK will signal the end of an era for the OG family of reality TV who finally seem ready for real reality.

From a newly-announced streaming deal to lifestyle site Poosh and shapewear brand Skims, here’s how the Kardashians and Jenners will expand their billion-dollar empires in the next 12 months.

STREAMING

After 14 years and 20 seasons, the final season of KUWTK will air in “early 2021”, according to Variety, but it won’t be the last time you see them on TV.

They signed an eye-watering multi-year global content agreement with Disney, that will see them executive produce and star in shows and specials to be streamed globally via Hulu.

It is not yet known what format their new TV ventures will take or whether it will be a reality series a la KUWTK – a now-outdated format which proved a hugeearner for the family since its inception in 2007.

Of the family’s reality TV fame, Khloe previously told Stellar: “We’ve been doing this so long it’s just second nature. But you have to have a really thick skin”.

Though details of the new Hulu deal have not been released, the last contract they signed with E! in 2017 was reportedly worth $US150 million.

“The Kardashian Jenners will create new global content under a multi-year deal, to stream exclusively on Hulu in the US and in multiple territories on Star internationally,” Disney said in its announcement in November,

The Disney deal involves Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie, as well as other members of the extended family including Kris and Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick.

“Excited to announce our new multi year partnership with Hulu and Star and what’s to come in 2021,” Kardashian “momager” Kris Jenner said in a statement.

In September, the Kardashians stunned fans when they announced they were ending KUWTK. “It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” the family said. “After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and several spin-off shows, we’ve decided as a family to end this very special journey.”

FASHION AND BEAUTY

The Kardashians and Jenners are making moves in retail, with the family’s top earners, Kim and Kylie, worth an estimated $US780 million ($A1.026 billion) and $US900 million ($A1.184 billion) respectively mostly because of their business interests.

Kim owns KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance and Skims, a “solutionwear” range of undergarments for which she signed lucrative new deals with retail giants Net-A-Porter, Selfridges and Nordstrom.

The New Year could see Kim add to her brand portfolio after she trademarked “KKW Home”, fuelling speculation she is designing a homeware range. She is also studying to be a lawyer and pursuing political activism.

Kylie Jenner made megabucks off her Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin brands, of which she sold 51 per cent to global beauty company Coty in 2019 in deal reportedly worth $US600 million ($A790 million).

The Kardashians and Jenners have had huge success globally including in the Australian market, with Kylie Skin recently launching into Mecca Cosmetica stores and KKW Fragrance stocked at Myer.

Khloe owns inclusive-sized clothing label, Good American, incorporating denim, activewear and shapewear from sizes 00 to 24, while Kourtney runs the Goop-esque lifestyle and e-commerce site, Poosh.

Kendall continues to be the world’s highest-paid supermodel according to Forbes, with her earnings sitting at an estimated $US22.5 million ($A29.63 million) in 2019, and reclusive sibling Rob Kardashian has a side hustle designing socks under the brand Arthur George.

Even Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend and KUWTK regular Disick has leveraged his Kardashian alignment in the fashion world with his activewear brand, Talentless.

SOCIAL MEDIA

None of the Kardashians and Jenners’ retail business interests compare to their Instagram influence, where they can earn millions of dollars for a single photo.

Kylie, for instance, charges a reported $US1.27 million ($A1.67 million) for a sponsored post, according to Instagram’s Rich List.

“My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media,” Kris Jenner told CBS in 2019.

“They have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook … they have a fee schedule.”

When asked to reveal the exact amounts they charge, she said: “I mean, it’s definitely six figures”.

And the Kardashians and Jenners’ social media audiences continues to grow, playing a key role in their post-KUWTK earning capacity. Currently, Kylie has 206 million followers, Kim has 196 million, Kendall has 145 million, Khloe has 125 million and Kourtney has 105 million.

As Kim said in an interview with The Business of Fashion, “Social media is its own show”.

The final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians (season 20) will air on Foxtel in 2021.
