IF YOU thought Paris Hilton’s new $14,000 pup was cute, wait until you see the rest of her madcap menagerie.

The reality star turned DJ is back home in California after an eventful New York Fashion Week, and a video she posted on Instagram shows an entire pack of cat and dog friends deranged with happiness at her return.

Seen at first through a glass door, at least seven small dogs of various breeds are filmed leaping, yelping and turning themselves in ecstatic circles as the heiress approaches, before the footage moves on to include cats lounging on marble-top counters and drinking from her kitchen tap.

The gang might not be quite so thrilled when they meet the newest and most famous member of the Hilton clan: a US$13,000 ($14,380) Pomeranian, who took Instagram by storm earlier this week with his heartmelting antics (which mostly include just being incredibly tiny and staring into the camera with his very shiny, button-like eyes).

The celebrity DJ purchased the five-month-old pup, Mr Amazing, from Canadian breeder Joanne Pauze. He is currently only six centimetres high and will grow to a maximum weight of about a kilogram.

Hilton told TMZ she has already changed his name, although she hasn’t disclosed what the puffball’s new handle is.
