Nadia Bartel steps out of comfort zone for role on Dancing with the Stars

Fashion influencer Nadia Bartel is showing that not all is what it seems under the glare of curious eyes as she prepares for a new challenge.

Glamorous fashion influencer Nadia Bartel is stepping out of her comfort zone and showing that not all is what it seems under the glare of curious eyes.

“I give that impression, I’m confident and assured,’’ Bartel said.

“But I’m very much an over-thinker and sometimes doubt myself. I’m definitely not that loud confident person in the room.”

The mother of two and Henne founder said it was the right time to tackle Seven’s hit show Dancing With the Stars.

Nadia Bartel is set to star on Dancing With the Stars.

“I loved it, it was a great experience and so good to try something new,’’ Bartel said.

“They have asked me in the past and the timing didn’t align with the kids being young.

“So glad I did it and with all the other dancers it was such a tight-knit crew. Nice to do something outside of my day-to-day.

“Even being on stage and performing to a group of people was really big for me.

“The kids were so pumped about me doing the show, we always love dancing around the house and listening to music.”

Bartel says her dance partner Lyu Masuda helped her get into character.

Bartel paid tribute to her dance partner Lyu Masuda for helping her shine on the dancefloor.

“Trying to teach me how to get into character was something I had to get used to,’’ she said.

“I have so much respect for the dancers, your mind plays so much into how you perform.”

DWTS premieres on Sunday night on Channel 7.
