Taylor Swift has surprised diners at an inner-city Sydney restaurant after turning up unexpectedly for a low-key meal on Tuesday night.
The megastar, 34, arrived at Pellegrino 2000 in Surry Hills with fellow singer Sabrina Carpenter, who is currently supporting her on her sold-out Eras Tour.
Swift reportedly declined to book out the entire Italian restaurant, instead enjoying her evening alongside stunned fellow restaurantgoers.
Word of Swift's choice of dinner hotspot quickly spread, and hordes of Swifties were eagerly waiting outside as the famous duo left the venue later in the evening.
Among them was Kyle and Jackie O producer – and frequent celebrity tracker – Peter Deppeler, aka Intern Pete, who spilt all the details on Seven’s Sunrise on Wednesday morning.
The radio staffer claimed he had a copy of their table’s bill, which allegedly showed that they tipped $300 on a $620 bill.
However, later during the KIIS breakfast radio show, Deppeler produced the alleged “receipt” - which, according to host Jackie “O” Henderson, was actually a K-mart docket.
Swift is currently in the midst of a four-day break after performing three massive shows in Melbourne over the weekend. She’ll kick off her four Sydney gigs on Friday night at Accor Stadium.
But there are fears among fans that the show may end up being cancelled or delayed, with the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a severe thunderstorm warning for Friday and Saturday.
Swift has previously gone on with the show amid heavy rain in Sydney during her 2018 Reputation tour, but lightning warnings this time around may be putting it at risk.
Eighty thousand people are expected to attend each night of the show.
Meanwhile, during her second performance in Melbourne on Saturday, Swift admitted she was struggling to “wrap” her “mind around” the 96,000 people who were watching on – her biggest audience to date.
“What a joy and what an honour to say this words to you tonight, Melbourne, welcome to the Eras Tour!” she gushed.
“I am standing here on the stage, trying to wrap my mind around the fact that there are 96,000 people that wanted to hang out with us on a Saturday night.”
Swift added: “I feel like a contest winner, like I won a contest to get to have this memory of looking at you an singing with you.
“I’m having a very strange experience in my head.
“I don’t know if you know how many 96,000 is – like, if we were to start counting, we’d never get there.
“I am so grateful to you for wanting to spend this time with us, and just the passion I’m feeling from you already, I promise you – we are going to give you absolutely everything we have tonight.”
