Taylor Swift sparks fan frenzy by wearing Vivienne Westwood in London as Travis Kelce wedding rule emerges

New pictures emerge of the outfit that left Taylor Swift’s fans stunned as speculation mounts over Travis Kelce’s marriage plans.

Music superstar Taylor Swift has sent fans into a frenzy with her outfit choice after emerging from security lockdown in London ahead of her five sold-out gigs at Wembley Stadium.

The singer stunned in a plaid two-piece plaid skirt suit from Vivienne Westwood’s 2024 collection, paired with a white ruffled shirt, green block-heel Mary Janes with a slight platform and white ankle socks.

The star rocked the timeless Austin Powers-inspired look as she took her team out for a big night at the famed London club Annabel’s in Mayfair, which has been a playground for the rich and famous since the 1960s.

The 14-time Grammy winner has long been famous for following her fans’ theories, reactions and general musings online — or “Taylurking” as Swifties call it.

As she made her grand entrance into private-members’ club Annabel’s, Swift made one superfan’s year by wearing an outfit they had predicted she would pick.

Back in March, You Belong In This Instagrammer Cookie Cohen, who Photoshops Swift into various designer styles, spotlighted the exact same Vivienne Westwood suit on her page.

Five months later, Swift stepped out in the three-quarter sleeve blazer-and-miniskirt combo, proving she has her fans close to her heart.

It comes amid reports NFL star Travis Kelce won’t propose to  Swift until the couple have agreed a pre-nup.

Swift is a billionaire while Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, has an estimated worth of around A$106 million.

According to a source quoted by Life and Style, Kelce will not pop the question until financial terms are in place for if they were to ever split up.

“This is a lot further along than either Taylor or Travis would care to admit, since they’ve considered themselves unofficially engaged for a while and are both 100 per cent committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family,” the source said.

SWIFT EMERGES FROM LOCKDOWN

Swift partied until 3am at Annabel’s after hiring the entire venue for the night to show her appreciation to her team, The Sun reports.

A source told The Sun: “Taylor is one of the most generous pop stars out there and she threw this party to thank her team for their hard work.

“She hired out Annabel’s for the night and put on a free bar so her team could let their hair down.

“They will be back hard at work tomorrow for the first night at Wembley.

“It was packed in Annabel’s as there were 200 of them there, but it was a great night. Everyone was so appreciative of Taylor’s efforts.”

Swift has been under presidential level security following the terror threats and the arrests of several teenagers in connection the alleged Vienna plot.

Before her outing, she and her crew had been in lockdown ahead of her five sold-out gigs at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Earlier, The Sun reported that additional private security specialising in counter-terrorism will be deployed at The Eras shows in London alongside the Metropolitan Police.

A source told The Sun: “Taylor’s security and of those around her has always been paramount, but even more so now.”

Austrian authorities announced the arrest of three males in connection to a terrorist plot.

The three teenagers, ranging in age from 15 to 19, allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, head of the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence, alleged the teens “wanted to carry out an attack in the area outside the stadium, killing as many people as possible”.

As a result, all three of Swift’s sold-out shows at Ernst Happel Stadium were cancelled.

London police have warned Swifties without tickets not to gather anywhere near Wembley Stadium during the star’s shows.

London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, told Sky News they have “a huge amount of experience in policing these events” especially after the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, which left over 20 people dead after a suicide bomber attacked Ariana Grande’s concert.

“We’re never complacent, many lessons were learned after the awful Manchester Arena attack,” he added.

“ … We’re going to carry on, working closely with police [and] ensuring that the Taylor Swift concerts can take place in London safely.”
