A fellow singer has dished on her “pathetic” red carpet encounter with Taylor Swit at a major music awards show.

Taylor Swift and another singer-songwriter had a hilarious red-carpet run-in that the latter recently recalled in a now-viral TikTok, calling it “so pathetic.”
Ingrid Michaelson hilariously recalled running into Taylor Swift at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in a now-viral TikTok.
The singer-songwriter said she “was on the red carpet, feeling [her]self” when all of a sudden handlers “ushered [her] off.
“And I realised that Taylor Swift was coming. I look to my right, and there she is,” Michaelson continued.
Michaelson said that Swift went “down the whole line” before ducking “between two panels” alongside her bodyguards.
“And I was like, ‘Well, I know her, we’ve hung out a couple of times,’” she recalled thinking.” So I went between the panels, literally running after this woman. And I go, ‘Taylor! Taylor!’ and of course she doesn’t turn around, because why would she turn around hearing a random woman screaming her name.”
When that didn’t work, Michaelson said she turned up the volume a bit.
“And I go, at the top of my lungs — this so pathetic — I go, ‘Taylor! It’s Ingrid!’” she continued, noting that “then she finally turned around.”
The embarrassment wasn’t for nothing, as Swift “remembered” the fellow singer and they “took a picture.”

Swifties are convinced that the pop star collaborated with Lady Gaga on the dreamy track off the latter’s seventh studio album.
Since Mayhem began streaming Friday, Swift’s fans have theorised that she provided background vocals.
While the 35-year-old is not credited on the song, one social media user wrote, “I always hear Taylor when I listen to this song.”
