Even superstars like Drake are tuned into Aussie drama, as he is seen wearing an “it made me feel broke” shirt in reference to this local influencer feud.
Performing at one of the biggest venues in Australia on Monday, the Canadian rapper wore the shirt in front of thousands of concert goers at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre as a nod to Anna Paul and Mikaela Testa’s online beef.
The shirt seemed to be custom, as the back was printed with “Gold Coa$t 2025”.

Drake seemed to reference influencer and OnlyFans star Anna Paul feud with her former friend and fellow influencer, Mikaela Testa.
Ms Paul, who is reportedly a multi-millionaire, has often referenced coming from a working-class background and it has become part of her iconic success story.
However, Ms Testa claimed this ‘rags to riches’ story was a facade, and Ms Paul had exaggerated her claim that she grew up “broke”.
In a lengthy TikTok response, Ms Paul defended herself against the myriad of allegations, but controversially claimed that being broke, for her, was more a state of mind.
“When I said I grew up broke that is my experience, that is how I felt. When I can hear my parents talking in the kitchen that the budget for the groceries that week is $30, it makes me feel broke,” she argued.
“When they say, ‘ooh I don’t know how we’re going to afford rent next week’, that makes me scared and makes me feel broke.”
These comments sparked the controversy, which has now been seemingly fed into by one of the world’s most famous artists.
Drake is no stranger to feuds himself, as his beef with Kendrick Lamar not only dominated headlines in 2024, but a diss track excoriating him reached the stage of the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
This could have led to his interest in the local Aussie beef, and this iconic moment.
“What kind of crossover is this,” a user commented on the video.
“Who told him abt (sic) Anna Paul omg,” another wrote.
Many loved the bold act, with people commenting “SHADYYY” and asking “how can you not love this man?”.
People have also suggested the shirt was a nod to the posters concertgoers have begun bringing in hopes of scoring a few bucks from the millionaire.
“Bro knew damn well them people finna bring them broke ass signs to his concerts so he wore that lol” one user commented on the video shared to TikTok.
For some fans, they would have preferred Drake focus on his own concert, as his show started off on a frustrating note after a lengthy delay forced thousands to wait in a gigantic queue for hours.
Posts on social media show swarms of people still stuck in massive lines just after 7pm.
“Drake concert brissy situation! Gates were meant to open 5:30pm its now 7:16pm lollllll” one person wrote on a video shared to TikTok.
Others claimed to have been still stuck outside the gates at 9pm.
“Absolutely ridiculous, how can an artist be 2 HOURS late to his own show. It’s just disrespectful, he literally has one job …” another person wrote on social media.
With a 9:50pm kick off, the rapper appeared on stage almost two hours later than scheduled.
The reason for the delay has not been confirmed, though it is understood that Drake, his support acts and entourage arrived to the venue late, with the star reportedly refusing to allow concertgoers to enter the venue while he was soundchecking.
