Dave Grohl’s teenage daughter has broken her silence a month after the Foo Fighters’ frontman revealed he had fathered a child outside of his marriage.

The eldest daughter of Dave Grohl has broken her silence after the Foo Fighters frontman revealed he had fathered a child outside of marriage.

Violet Maye Grohl, 18, shared a selfie to her 225,000 Instagram followers, showcasing her arm tattoo featuring the logo of the German experimental band Einstürzende Neubauten.

She also shared a series of photos including moody, shadowy images and a concert shot, which was simply captioned with a smiley face.

In a separate Instagram Story, the teenager winked at the camera and flaunted her edgy style with a bold display of cleavage.

Grohl’s 15-year-old daughter Harper Willow Grohl posted two Instagram selfies, on September 28 and then again on October 13.

The rocker and his second wife Jordyn Blum Grohl – both recently spotted without their wedding bands – are also parents of 10-year-old daughter Ophelia Saint Grohl.

Violet is already following in her father’s musical footsteps, joining him onstage to showcase her singing voice with covers of Nirvana, Adele, Jeff Buckley, and the punk band X.

In August, the duo also took to the stage at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles to perform the Foo Fighters’ song Show Me How, a tribute to her late grandmother Virginia.

Last month Grohl, previously dubbed the “nicest guy in rock”, revealed he fathered a child “outside of his marriage”.

In a revealing statement on Instagram, the 55-year-old said he was fighting for his marriage.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued.

“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

He did not reveal who the mother of the newborn girl is, nor has his wife made a statement.

Grohl was previously married to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997. But the pair did not have children.
