Meghan and Harry: Royal film maker says Charles will be devastated by the claims made by Harry and Meghan

Royal watchers continue to cast doubts over the shocking racism claims made in the Oprah Winfrey interview with Harry and Meghan.

A royal film maker says Prince Charles will be heartbroken over claims made in the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview with Harry and Meghan.

Nick Bullen has no doubt that Prince Charles is heartbroken over Prince Harry’s shocking statements made in the tell-all with Winfrey.

“I think the Prince of Wales must be shocked and heartbroken,” Bullen said.

“Imagine if any member of your family, especially your son or daughter, goes on television and says, ‘My relationship has broken down with my father?’ Even if it’s true, the world now knows. So I think the Prince of Wales must be heartbroken,” Bullen told Fox News.

Bullen is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV. The award-winning documentarian has been making programs about the royal family for nearly 20 years and has worked closely with Charles for eight.

Bullen insisted that he’s never suspected Charles of being a racist.

“I have worked with the Prince of Wales,” he explained. “That’s been set in the public domain. And I can say he is anything but a racist. I have huge respect for him. He is a man driven by duty. And I have always viewed him as a great father to his sons over the years.”

“As a matter of fact, when Meghan Markle’s father couldn’t attend the royal wedding, it was Charles who stepped in and offered to walk Meghan down the aisle,” Bullen explained.

“And from my understanding, he has always been welcoming of Meghan Markle. He wanted to make sure she didn’t feel alone. Whatever the relationship was between Meghan and her father, Charles wanted to be supportive for his son and new daughter-in-law.”

Bullen also scoffed at allegations that Charles hasn’t been a supportive father figure to Harry.

“I have no doubt in my mind the man cares about his son,” said Bullen. “We’ve only really heard one side of the story. And so far, Meghan and Harry have won the PR war.”

Charles did not speak about the couple’s interview during a visit to a vaccine clinic in London, his first public appearance since the sit-down and came amid increasing pressure on Buckingham Palace to respond to the allegations.

Soon after, Buckingham Palace issued a 60-word statement on behalf of Elizabeth, 94.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” read a statement sent to Fox News.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning,” the statement continued. “While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

Meanwhile, The Sun claims Meghan and Harry were supported by Buckingham Palace over an alleged feud with Kate Middleton.

During the interview, which has sent shockwaves throughout Buckingham Palace and the world, Meghan claimed the pair had married in secret three days before millions tuned in to watch their Windsor Castle wedding – but it was claimed today this was actually just a rehearsal.

And while she complained she didn’t receive any help from the palace in shutting down rumours she had made Kate cry – instead telling Oprah it had been the other way around, and she was left in tears – it was reported royal press officers had actually dismissed many stories on her behalf, including about the expensive renovations at Frogmore Cottage.

BLACK CHOIR LEADER DOUBTS MEGHAN RACISM CLAIM

The Black choir that sang at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding has cast doubt on the allegations of racism within the royal family that were launched during Harry and Meghan’s TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Ms Karen Gibson, founder and conductor of the Kingdom’s Choir, told TMZ that Prince Charles personally invited them to perform at the May 2018 nuptials.

Ms Gibson told the entertainment website that Charles seemed to be very sincere in his invitation, and went out of his way to personally congratulate them on their success as a choir after the wedding.

Ms Gibson, who founded and conducts The Kingdom Choir, a London-based gospel group invited to perform at the wedding, said every interaction between her choir and Prince Charles was gracious.

The group sang Ben E. King’s soul classic, “Stand By Me.”

Meanwhile, Oprah “bestie” Gayle King said: “I think Meghan has plenty of receipts, meaning she’s been keeping track of things,” The Sun reported.

UNVEILING OF DIANA STATUE COULD REUNITE HARRY, WILLIAM

Prince Harry and Prince William will be forced to put on a “united front” at a memorial service for their late mother Diana, in what could be their first face-to-face encounter six months after their very public fall out.

Prince William, 38, has not spoken to his little brother for almost a year, although he had made contact via WhatsApp text, and certainly not since Harry and Meghan’s tell all interview with Oprah where he branded his family racist.

But the pair will have to put their differences aside when a statue of Princess Diana is unveiled in the sunken garden at Kensington Palace on July 1.

“Tensions are undoubtedly running high but they both realise it is important to put any differences aside for the ceremony at least,” a royal source told The Daily Mirror.

“There is definitely a feeling that both camps are prepared to come together and put on a united front for such a special occasion.”

Meghan will not attend as she is due to give birth to her second child, a girl, around that time.

Prince William told reporters this week he had not spoken to Prince Harry since the interview, but he “will do”.

The brothers have had a spectacular falling out, with 36-year-old Prince Harry feeling that his older brother was a snob towards Meghan.

Prince William had reportedly asked him “are you sure about this girl” when referring to Meghan before they wed.

Those words created deep resentment in Prince Harry, which has now led to him twice saying in interviews that he and his brother were on “different paths”.

In the Oprah interview, Prince Harry described the relationship with his brother as “space at the moment”.

“Time heals all things, hopefully,” he added.

Prince William, who also this week denied claims from his brother that the royal family was racist, has to walk a tightrope in this relationship.

Personally, he would wish to have more contact with his brother, but as a future heir to the throne, he also needs to find a way they can live with each other to avoid further damage to the royal family as Prince Harry intends to continue to have a prominent public role in America.

The focus on the July date indicates that Prince Harry was not a certain starter for the Queen’s 95th birthday celebrations or Prince Philip’s 100th birthday bash in June.

However, that would unlikely upset Prince Philip, who has reportedly said he wants “nothing to do” with the 100th birthday party celebrations.

The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, remains in King Edward VII’s Hospital in Marylebone, central London.

The six-storey private hospital remains under heavy police guard, with every entrance monitored by officers on rotating shifts.

He has been in hospital for three weeks, including time spent at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in central London where he underwent a heart procedure.

There has been no update on his condition since he moved back to King Edward VII’s last Friday.
