Movie star Matt Damon was accompanied by all four of his daughters and his wife at the premiere of his latest movie.
Damon, 53, who is usually very private, was seen strutting the red carpet with his whole family in honour of his new movie The Instigators, which also stars his best mate Ben Affleck’s younger brother Casey Affleck.
The A-lister was joined by his wife Luciano, his stepdaughter Alexia, 25, and his three daughters, Isabella, 18, Gia, 16, and Stella, 14.
The family looked chic on the red carpet. Strikingly, all four daughters resembled their mum. All four girls have flawless complexions and seem thrilled to support their dad.
Alexia and Isabella opted for chic black dresses. Meanwhile, Gia chose a gorgeous velvet red dress, and Stella went for a green number.
Damon was stopped on the red carpet by Entertainment Tonight and noted that his daughter’s growing up, “happens so fast.”
“It happens kind of slowly and then really fast in a beautiful way,” he said.
Damon is one of those rare Hollywood types who has a long-lasting marriage. He and his wife have been together for over 17 years.
The pair met in 2003 when she was a bartender and he was filming the comedy Stuck On You. They got married in 2005.
Outside of his movies, Damon does not make headlines for his family life, although his famous friendships with Ben Affleck and Chris Hemsworth often make the news.
Damon loves Hemsworth so much that he routinely visits Australia, but besides that, the actor keeps things private.
Occasionally, he does giveaway titbits about his personal life; he recently told Parade what he wants most for his children.
“If I had a bucket list, I’d say raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be No. 1,” he said.
In 2012, while appearing on US Today, he also said that he’d never “expected” to be surrounded by girls, but it has been “great.”
“I’m learning so much, not the least of which is how much smarter girls are,” he said.
“I operated under the assumption that us guys had a chance, but I realised when I was completely wrapped around my [toddler’s] finger, and she knew it. If they can do that to us at two years old, when they’re fully grown, we really don’t stand a chance.”
