Maria Thattil on why she’s not dating anyone: ‘There are just more important things in my life’

Author, influencer and former beauty queen Maria Thattil has spoken of her new priorities following her split from ex-AFLW player Moana Hope.

Maria Thattil says she’s not dating but she hasn’t given up on love.

The Melbourne author, influencer and former beauty queen is single after splitting earlier this year from former AFLW player Moana Hope.

“I’m just grateful at the moment, focusing on health and family and being present for work,” Thattil said.

“Not dating, and that’s OK, there are just more important things in my life.

“I’ve not given up on (love) at all, it’s just not a priority, and not a focus. I don’t need it to be.”

Thattil rocked a lace burgundy outfit at the Carla Zampatti opening night for Australian Fashion Week in Sydney.

She sat front row with fellow Shark Beauty guests Costeen Hatzi and Lexi Mary.

Other Melbourne names included Annalise Dalins and Hannah Dal Sasso, both styled by Paul Versace.

”Life’s good, I’m travelling to Greece and Italy for a few campaigns and I feel very lucky to do what I do,” Thattil said.
