Macaulay Culkin walks runway at Gucci fashion show

The 41-year-old Home Alone star popped up at a star-studded event this week, rubbing shoulders with Gwyneth Paltrow and Miley Cyrus.

Former child star Macaulay Culkin has made his fashion runway debut, cutting a chic figure at Gucci’s latest fashion show.

It marked a rare public appearance for the new dad, who welcomed his first child with Brenda Song in April.

The Home Alone star took to the catwalk for the Hollywood glamour themed show by the fashion house, and he wasn’t the only famous face among the models.

Joining him was US actor Jared Leto, British actress Jodie Turner-Smith, Aussie actor Kodi Smit-McPhee and singer Phoebe Bridgers.

The “Gucci Love Parade” front row was just as stacked, with stars including Miley Cyrus, Gwyneth Paltrow, Lizzo, Serena Williams and Billie Eilish in attendance.

Culkin has largely shunned the spotlight in recent years, apart from a sprinkling of small acting gigs and hilarious viral moments.

The star recently addressed rumours he was set to reprise his role as Kevin McCallister in Home Sweet Home Alone, a sort-of-remake of the 1990 hit.

Taking to Twitter, he denied he’d be making a cameo, but he did wish everyone “the best of luck”.

Hey y'all. Just a heads up since I've been getting this question a lot today:

The new film stars Jojo Rabbit breakout star Archie Yates as Max Mercer, the kid left behind by his frantic parents as the family jets off to Tokyo for Christmas holiday.

As for Culkin, aside from his foray into the fashion world, the actor has recently become a dad.

He and girlfriend Brenda Song, who starred in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, announced the birth of their son Dakota Song Culkin, on April 5.

“We’re overjoyed,” the couple said in a statement.

Baby Dakota weighed in at 3.11kg, and is named in honour of Culkin’s late sister Dakota, who died in 2008 at age 29 from her injuries after she was struck by a car.

Last February, Culkin spoke to Esquire about his desire to have a family with Song, his girlfriend of four years.

“We practice a lot,” the 40-year-old actor quipped.

“We’re figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, ‘Honey, I’m ovulating.’”
