Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough shares final photo of the pair together

Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter, actress Riley Keough, has shared an emotional last image of the pair together before the singer’s tragic death.

Actress Riley Keough has shared the last photo she ever took with her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, before the singer died on January 12.

The photo, posted to Instagram, showed the mother-daughter duo sitting together at a restaurant and smiling at the camera while leaning in together.

“I feel blessed to have a photo of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this,” the 33-year-old Keough captioned the photo.

It is unclear when the photo was taken. Presley attended the Golden Globes with her mother, Priscilla Presley, on January 10th, just two days before her death.

The Presleys were at the event to support actor Austin Butler, who won best actor in a drama that evening for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the Baz Luhrmann film of the same name.

Keough was reportedly not at the ceremony but had attended a dinner alongside her mother, grandmother, Australian director Baz Luhrmann and Butler at hip LA eatery Formosa Cafe on the Sunday before Presley’s death.

Presley was laid to rest at her father’s Graceland estate over the weekend.

Keough, who had not publicly spoken about her mother’s death, shared a throwback photo of the two.

Keough’s post was seemingly a way to say goodbye to her late mother after she was too overcome with emotion to deliver the speech she had prepared for her mother’s memorial service on the weekend.

Instead, Keough’s husband, Ben Smith-Peterson, read Keough’s eulogy on her behalf.

During his reading, the Australian stuntman revealed that he and Keough had welcomed their first child together.

“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” Keough wrote.

“I remember you driving me in my car seat playing Aretha Franklin,” she wrote. “I remember the feeling I’d get when you picked me up from school.

“Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this world,” she wrote, before writing that her late brother Benjamin Keough — who died by suicide in 2020 — and her half-sisters are “products of your heart”.

“We are you, you are us,” Keough wrote.

“Thank you for trying so hard for all of us.”

Presley — who was the sole child of the late musical icon Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley — died after suffering cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles home at the age of 54.

She was revived by paramedics but suffered a second cardiac arrest and later died in hospital.

The singer was buried next to her son, Benjamin, who was just 27 when he died.

In addition to Keough, Presley is survived by her mother Priscilla, 14-year-old twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, and her baby granddaughter.
