Julia Fox has sent tongues wagging again after sharing a tour of her New York apartment – unmade bed and all – on TikTok this week.
The Uncut Gems actress and former flame of Kanye West revealed she doesn’t like “excessive displays of wealth” in the refreshingly honest video, with followers delighted to see that celebs are just like us: Messy.
Along with glimpses of children’s clutter, piles of clothes and haphazard storage solutions, the star admitted she has a “mouse problem”, which she is unbothered by because they eat crumbs dropped by her toddler.
Fox, 32, began the tour by telling fans she believes in “maximum transparency” before panning across her living room, which she sleeps in.
“I never thought in a million years I would do this, but I believe in maximum transparency, and so I’m gonna give you guys an apartment tour. I know I’m going to get roasted,” she said. “Hopefully, maybe someone can watch this and say, Okay, maybe I’m not doing so bad.”

Revealing she turned her actual bedroom into a playroom for son Valentino, 2, Fox took fans through her living room, decorated with a “nostalgia mirror” scattered with photos of her son as a baby, snaps of her late friends and a pendant containing her friend’s ashes.
The star then moved down the long hallway to her “very tiny” bathroom, panning across a sink heaving with cosmetic products.
“It does what it’s supposed to do,” she shrugged of the compact space.
Her kitchen doubles a storage room, with boxes piled high in the corner.
“I also have shoe boxes in the kitchen, which is very common for New Yorkers,” she said, adding: “Don’t judge me … I know it’s really messy.”
She then shared a peek inside Valentino’s playroom (her former bedroom) and the tot’s own bedroom.
“I put the most effort in here but he never goes in there, he doesn’t even sleep in there, he sleeps in Mama’s room,” she said.
“We’re co-sleepers, sue me, I don’t care.”
Ending the video, Fox explained of her modest decorating style: “For me personally I don’t like excessive displays of wealth, they make me feel icky.
“Especially people who have really big houses. It’s just really wasteful when there’s so many homeless people in this country and I’m not really like that.”
She added that she has a “small mouse problem”.
“I kind of, let them rock. I appreciate that, at night, they come out and clean up the crumbs … I’m not gonna evict the mice soon.”
The apartment tour has seemingly boosted the actress’ fanbase, with a number of social media users declaring their love for the down-to-earth lifestyle similar to a number of New Yorkers and single parents.

Fox appeared on What What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, where she was pressed about her short-lived romance with now-married Kanye West.
“We were literally together for like a minute,” she said, adding: “I don’t think he even knows my full name or anything.”
She went on to say she has not spoken to the rapper in “almost a year” and has “never spoken” to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
In November last year, the model claimed her romance with West, 45, was an attempt to distract him from his “obsession” with Kardashian.
“I had this thought, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. Maybe I can get him off of Kim’s case,’” she said.
“Like, ‘Maybe I can distract him, like, just get him to like me,’” Fox added. “And I knew if anyone can do it, it’s me, because when I set my mind to something, I do it.”
Responding to a comment asking why she would date a “violent misogynist and anti-Semite,” the model explained that the rapper acted “normal” around her.
