Isla Fisher celebrates the wedding of A-list pals Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup

She may not have crashed Naomi Watts’ wedding, but a beaming post-divorce Isla Fisher had just as much fun as her iconic character alongside familiar faces. See photos.

It seems her own marriage breakdown hasn’t tainted Isla Fisher’s view on true love with the actor having the time of her life celebrating the wedding of her two famous mates Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.

The lovebirds tied the knot in Mexico City for a second time, a year after legally getting married at a courthouse in New York City.

Fans were delighted to see Fisher beaming.

Despite recently announcing her own split from husband Sacha Baron Cohen, Fisher was all smiles, sharing her happy snaps from the big day to Instagram.

Fellow Aussie actor Nicole Kidman also starred prominently in Fisher’s photo album including in a picture of her giving the bride a big squeeze.

“‘Her feet never touched the ground!’” Fisher captioned the heartwarming snap, making reference to Kidman literally sweeping her much shorter best friend off her feet.

Fans will be relieved to see Fisher, 48, having a ball both at the wedding itself and during her sightseeing adventures around Mexico City.

Fisher and Watts were both all smiles.

The event seemed to be the celebrity wedding of the year.

The Wedding Crashers star has kept a relatively low profile since she and Cohen, 52, announced in April they had called it quits quietly last year.

In typical fashion for the comedic pair, they had shared a snap of themselves dressed as if to play tennis.

The happy snaps just kept coming.

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage,” their joint Instagram post read.

“We have always prioritised our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. “We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Crudup and Watts, both 55, had the children from their blended family take part in the festivities.

Watts’ child Kai, 15, and son Sasha, 16, who she shares with former partner Liev Schreiber were there as was Crudup’s son William who he shares with famous ex Mary Louise Parker.
