Britney Spears’ latest nude shot – and very strange accompanying caption – has some fans wondering if it’s even really her posting.

Britney Spears’ fondness for posting nude photos of herself on Instagram is old news by this point – but even so, the star’s very strange latest post has some fans worried.

Spears, 40, today shared a photo of herself naked in an empty bath with her 41m Instagram followers, covering her breasts with her hands and with only a digitally-added flower protecting the rest of her modesty.

Spears’ accompanying caption was what really raised eyebrows, though.

“I like to suck!!! Never professional pics … sucking comes easy for me!!! Keep clapping bitch!!!” she wrote.

That strange, suggestive caption had fans worried – with some even questioning whether someone else was posting on Spears’ behalf to make her look bad.

“I was all for free Britney. However, her posts are incredibly disturbing. And only becoming more so,” wrote one follower.

“They r determined to destroy her image bc she won’t co-operate … plus this is an old pic,” said another.

“Y’all know she is not in control of this account. This isn’t her posting. Something is up and they are trying to make her look bad,” claimed another.

“What the heck is going on??? Can someone check on her?” asked another.

However, others defended Spears, who has previously explained her love of posting nude photos by saying that she battled with body image issues throughout her pop career and while under a conservatorship.

“Nicki Minaj and Cardi sing songs with much worse lyrics, why are they shocked?” asked one fan.

“Considering that you were not seen for 13 years and now, for the first time for the last year, you are being seen. Express yourself. Do not worry about what other people think,” wrote another.

“Ppl tripping for seeing a woman confident with her body. If you are bothered just keep scrolling ffs,” said another.

Spears’ penchant for sharing nude images of herself publicly has even seen the singer enter into a public war of words with her own son Jayden.

“Social media helps her. So if that’s what she wants to do. I’m not going to hate her for that,” he said in a September interview.

“At the same time, she should come to the realisation of whatever it is that stops her loving her family.”

He added: “It’s almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention.”

But a furious Spears hit back at her teenage son, arguing her actions are nothing compared to the alleged misbehaviour of her children’s father, ex-husband Kevin Federline.
