Michelle McPherson from the Cave named as Toowoomba’s best personal trainer
In a competition of weights and scales, Toowoomba has crowned the top three personal trainers of 2024.

In a competition between some of the most motivated and fit personal trainers in Toowoomba, one has stood out above the rest.
It was a tight running with 68 competitors, the weights moved around the personal trainers at the beginning, before stacking up at the end with a clear favourite taking the lead.
They inspire, motivate, and help you achieve your goals – meet the top three personal trainers of Toowoomba in 2024.
1. Michelle McPherson (The Cave)
Taking a lead with 22 per cent of votes, personal trainer Michelle McPherson has been crowned the top personal trainer of Toowoomba.
Being empathetic and understanding the challenges of people who have multiple commitments, such as families and demanding jobs, was part of what makes a great personal trainer, she said.
She said she was very humbled to be part of a team of “some of best in the business at The Cave”.
Loving her job, she said a big achievement was running a “peaches and guns” program this year, where she journeyed with 25 women, at differing stages of fitness.
“Some didn’t even know how to use anything in a gym, there was scared to come to a gym,” she said.
“They’ve lost lots of weight, they feel more alive healthy.
“It’s amazing and I think when they achieve a goal I’m more excited than they are.”
2. Mandee Birch
With 11 per cent of total votes is Mandee Birch from Authentic Bodies and Snap Fitness.
A steady stream of votes poured in for Mandee through out the competition, showing just how much her clients value her.
3. Gio Davies
Taking third place with a clear 9 per cent of votes was Gio Davies from Premier Conditioning.
A business owner with a slew of exercising and coaching qualifications, Mr Davies is currently completing a Master in Physio Studies at the University of Queensland.
