THE Sharknado star turned heads with her latest red carpet appearance, showing off a bold new look that made her virtually unrecognisable.

SHARKNADO and American Pie star Tara Reid turned heads with a bold new look on the red carpet this week.

The 41-year-old star looked almost unrecognisable wearing what appeared to be a long blonde wig, complete with heavy fringe.

Reid unveiled the new look at the Los Angeles premiere of the new sci-fi epic Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets.

The famously slender star showed off her small frame in a pair of black pants with a low-cut, strapless boob tube up top.

Reid has made headlines over the years thanks to her petite frame and love of headline-grabbing skimpy red carpet outfits — and in a recent interview, said the resulting “body shaming” had taken a toll.

“I’ve definitely felt bullying in my life. With media or press or just different things in my life,” she told E! News earlier this month. “People always say I don’t eat. I eat all the time. They call me scary skinny ... Everyone knows I eat more than anyone. I’m just a thin girl.”

“I got lipo because even though I was skinny, I wanted — I’m not going to lie — a six pack,” she said.
