Game of Thrones star unrecognisable at Paris Fashion Week

GAME of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie was barely recognisable in Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label fashion show on Saturday.

GWENDOLINE Christie had the fiercest strut in Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label fashion show on Saturday.

The 6-foot-3, 36-year-old British actress, best known for her role as Brienne of Tarth on Game of Thrones, wore two outfits for the show.

She first wore a grey suit and a black overcoat with an oversized khaki hat. Christie also rocked a flowing black ensemble over patterned leggings and knee-high boots.

According to E! News, the Paris Fashion Week show was unisex-themed and also saw men wearing dresses and veils.

Westwood’s team also captured a smiling Christie backstage.

Christie may be lighting up the small screen, but she was also once a dancer.

“I was a semi-professional gymnast as a child,” she told Access Hollywood in 2012. “I did rhythmic gymnastics, but I sustained an injury and strained all the muscles in my spine. When that happened, and I was told that I wouldn’t be able to dance again at that level, I decided … I’d become an actress instead.”
