Singer Bebe Rexha leaks boyfriend’s text messages about her weight

A famous singer has taken to Instagram to leak some incredibly personal and spicy text messages.

Singer Bebe Rexha has leaked alleged texts from her boyfriend for commenting on her weight.

Rexha, 33, uploaded a screenshot of a text message with no context or caption to Instagram.

The message is believed to be from her boyfriend, producer Keyan Safyari, 38.

In the message, the sender writes that he never said he did love the singer but that he was always going to be “honest” with her.

“Your face was changing, so I told you it was … that was the conversation we were having, and you asked,” it reads.

“Would you rather I lied to you? You gained 35 pounds obviously, you gained weight and your face changes? Should I just pretend it didn’t happen and that it’s OK? Come on, I gain three pounds and you called me chubbs and fat. That doesn’t mean you don’t love me.”

The text concludes with the sender suggesting that Rexha attend therapy or a retreat but adds that he still “loves” her.

The text leak comes after Rexha has been incredibly open about gaining weight in

the public eye and the impact that has had on her. 

“I know I got fat. I’m just so sick of people talking about it. NEXT!!!!” she tweeted in June. 

She spoke about it further when she appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Talk Show and attributed her weight gain to being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, a common hormone imbalance.

She revealed that it wasn’t easy getting online hate just because her body had changed and that TikTok was filled with it.

“I was a lot thinner, and I did gain some weight — that comes with the territory. I’m not mad about it because it is true, but when you see things like that, it does mess with you,” she admitted.

She got even deeper into the nitty gritty by revealing she’d gained “30 pounds”, or nearly 14 kilograms.

“But we got to just be positive and just show people love,” she said.

While Rexha might not be a household name in Australia, she’s a famous songwriter who has written for the likes of Eminem and Selena Gomez.

Her voice has also been featured on tracks including G Eazy’s ‘Me Myself And I’ and David Guetta’s ‘I’m Good.’

Despite the leaked text messages, Rexha hasn’t revealed if she and Safyari are still together and hasn’t deleted any photos of him from her Instagram.
