Crazy-money villas and yachts, more scantily clad dancers than you could shake a thong at, big-name private DJs, bags of sex toys and chocolate body paint.
Welcome to Ibiza rave holidays, P Diddy style, where fixers with holdalls full of cash cross the palms of bar and club bosses to clear the way for “excess all areas.”
The billion-dollar rapper and producer is facing allegations of sex-trafficking and lawsuits from alleged victims.
Today we speak to a key minder who has seen his many wild trips to the party island up close and personal.
They also recall the now 54-year-old’s 2010 visit with then twenty-something lover Cassie Ventura — who he settled with out of court last year over claims of rape and coercive control — and how she seemed “subdued” and “unhappy”.
Our source said of his benders in Ibiza over the years: “No expense was spared. This was the last word in hedonism.
“We were approached by one of his PAs, Dia, and did everything for them from the moment they touched down on the island. That included cars, tables at clubs, yachts, security and DJs, and some guests for his parties. There were a lot of glamorous women there — young girls but not underage, which we wouldn’t have stood for.
“At one party, they had a sound system provided by the club Space, and loads of the guests were doing MDMA. There were people in various states of undress, and going off to rooms together although it wasn’t an orgy. It was our responsibility to make sure that it all ran smoothly and that they had all that they needed.
“He also went to clubs like DC-10, Space and Amnesia and we had to be really careful at those places.
“Some venues did not like hosting him as he had a tendency to leave after forgetting to pay.
“We took to going round with a holdall full of cash which we’d use to pay bar managers and tip staff so they were happy to have him.”
During a 2007 visit, Diddy and his entourage stayed at AU$38,000-a-week villa Hacienda El Cielo with views over the sparkling Med from its landscaped pool area.
‘Invites back to his’
The master bedroom included a walk-in closet — ideal for sharp-dressing Diddy’s designer threads — and its own private terrace.
His fixer added: “Ibiza is the place in Europe to party hard. But Diddy’s parties were truly something else. I remember one time being sent out in the early hours to buy chocolate body paint.
“Diddy would drink punch and Ciroc vodka. He was very particular about his drinks. He was always dressed immaculately, too. There were unsubstantiated rumours about guests putting MDMA powder into their own drinks, but I never saw that.”
Our insider also revealed Diddy’s holiday packing for jaunts to Ibiza included a meticulously assembled “sex bag” — containing toys, lubricants and handcuffs.
During visits to clubs, the music mogul’s team picked out beautiful young women from among the partygoers and invited them to his villa where revelries continued until the Balearic sun came up the next morning.
But a Diddy visit to Ibiza that our source particularly recalls was the 2010 one with US model and R&B singer Cassie, now 37.
She had signed five years earlier to Diddy’s label Bad Boy Records, aged 19, and two years later began dating him, which continued on and off for ten years.
But last November she filed her lawsuit against him, resolved a day later in a “mutual settlement”.
Diddy strongly denied its “offensive and outrageous” allegations despite agreeing to the settlement.
The fixer we spoke to, who is British, said: “When Cassie turned up with Diddy in 2010, at first I thought she might be part of his entourage.
“She seemed really subdued, and like she was there in body but not in spirit.
“I was shocked when one of his bodyguards told me she was Diddy’s partner. The age gap was apparent. She barely spoke and was subdued. It was as if she wanted to be seen but not heard. She spent most of the time holed up in their villa.
“There were numerous occasions when he went out with crew to clubs while she stayed at the villa. There were times I felt she looked unhappy.”
Her lawsuit accused Diddy of rape and coercive control as well as sex trafficking.
It said his controlling behaviour began when she was 19 and that he controlled all parts of her life over the next ten years.
It also claimed his associates and employees turned a blind eye.
Although the case with Cassie was settled, it prompted other accusers to come forward and make their own sexual assault allegations against Diddy.
Our source added: “Looking back, we never witnessed any abuse and would not have stood for any behaviour like that.
“But their relationship [Diddy and Cassie] was odd and uneven. She was an emerging R&B artist, he a superstar at the height of his powers.”
Now it emerges record producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones has issued a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of “serious illegal activity”.
The Sun told this week how the 73-page filing even claims Diddy used Prince Harry’s name to give “legitimacy” to wild parties, after they met in 2007, at an after-party following a Wembley concert for his late mum Princess Diana.
Jones claims to have hundreds of hours of video documenting Diddy’s behaviour, and the star’s mansions in LA and Miami were both raided by officials from US Homeland Security.
Items removed reportedly included firearms, phones, laptops and other electronic equipment.
Meanwhile, a host of high-profile brands have ended their business partnerships with Diddy.
Severed links
Last year drinks giant Diageo, maker of Guinness and Johnnie Walker whisky, cut ties after 15 years — and Rolling Stone magazine reported in December that Diageo is one of 18 brands to have severed links with Diddy.
Others reportedly include eyewear and handbag designer House of Takura, skincare firm Tsuri, underwear label Nuudii System and jeweller Fulaba.
Diddy also quit as chairman of Revolt, a hip-hop TV network he co-founded in 2013, and has now sold all his shares in it.
But Diddy — real name Sean Combs — denies any wrongdoing.
He posted on Instagram: “Enough is enough.
“I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character.
“Sickening allegations have been made by individuals looking for a quick payday.
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged.”
Diddy, who has seven kids by four women, and once dated singer J-Lo but has never wed and is now single, added: “I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
His lawyers have dismissed Jones’ accusations as “pure fiction”.
Representatives for P Diddy and for Cassie were contacted.
