We all missed Meghan Markle’s subtle hint about dating Prince Harry

WEEKS before news of their secret romance surfaced, actor Meghan Markle dropped a hint in an interview that she had found new love with Prince Harry.

IN the weeks before her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed late last year, Meghan Markle dropped a subtle hint about their romance in an interview.

Speaking at the Create and Cultivate conference in Atlanta in October, the “Suits” star let slip that she just “flew in” from the prince’s hometown.

She was also wearing a bracelet that matches one that the prince was later photographed wearing.

In the interview where she said she'd 'flown in from London', Markle was wearing the same bracelet photographed on Prince Harry.

In the footage, unearthed by Entertainment Tonight, Markle — whose show shoots in Canada — explained of her hectic schedule, “I flew in from London; I’m leaving here to fly back to Toronto, because we’re still filming.”

It was confirmed in early November that Markle and Prince Harry, who is the Queen’s grandson, were an item.

The potential future royal also shared a somewhat un-princesslike story from her days as a struggling actress.

“This epic day happened where the locks [on her Ford Explorer] stopped opening with the key. And the clicker wouldn’t open the front doors and I couldn’t afford to fix this car and this was how I got from one audition to the other,” she said. “So what I would start to do is literally go to these auditions, park at the back of the parking lot and I would open my trunk … and crawl into the back of my car to the front seat to drive off to my next audition. This, by the way, went on for five months.”
