Prince Harry named in sex trafficking lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Harry's name has been dragged into a bombshell lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, just one day after the rapper’s homes were raided.

Prince Harry has been named in a bombshell multimillion-dollar lawsuit accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual abuse.

In court documents filed last month, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claimed that guests were attracted to Combs’ alleged sex trafficking parties due to his “access to celebrities” along with “international dignitaries like British royal Prince Harry”, as it gave him “legitimacy,” Daily Mail reports.

The Duke of Sussex is not accused of any wrongdoing.

The prince met Combs, 54, in 2007 at an after-party for the Concert for Diana performers, but it’s unclear whether they had any contact afterwards.

In the US$30 million lawsuit, Jones, who helped produce Combs’ 2023 The Love Album: Off the Grid, accused the Bad Boy Records founder of sexually harassing, drugging, and threatening him during their time in the studio.

The producer claimed the alleged abuse occurred repeatedly from September 2022 to November 2023, and that he was forced to perform inappropriate acts with sex workers and once woke up drugged and in bed with Combs.

Jones also alleged that he saw underage girls at Combs’ house parties and witnessed the star drugging their drinks, and claimed he has hundreds of hours of footage documenting Combs’ “serious illegal activity”.

“Mr Combs consistently made it clear that he has immense power in the music industry and with law enforcement,” the lawsuit adds.

Combs has an estimated worth of around US$1 billion (A$1 billion) due to lucrative commercial partnerships and his music career.

The father of seven has denied the accusations, describing them as “sickening”.

Meanwhile, his lawyer, Shawn Holley, told TMZ last month that Jones’ claims were “pure fiction.”

“Lil Rod is nothing more than a liar who filed a $30 million lawsuit shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday.”

The latest development came just hours after Combs’ homes in LA and Florida were both raided by the US Department of Homeland Security on Monday, in connection with an ongoing sex-trafficking investigation.

Video footage showed the dramatic moment armed federal agents were seen descending on his vast estate as helicopters hovered above.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” a Homeland Security Investigations spokesman told TMZ.

In November last year, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, singer Casandra Ventura – known by her stage name Cassie – filed a lawsuit accusing him of a decade-long “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking,” but the case was quickly settled just one day later.

She claimed that her ex was “prone to uncontrollable rage” and “frequently beat” her “savagely”, often witnessed by his staff and employees, but that no one “dared to speak up against their frightening and ferocious boss.”

Ms Ventura further alleged that the rapper forced her to carry his firearm in her purse to remind her of “his ability to cause serious harm”.

“Over the years that Mr. Combs abused Ms. Ventura physically and sexually, she again and again tried to escape his tight hold over her life,” the lawsuit stated.

“Every time she hid, Mr. Combs’s vast network of corporations and affiliated entities found her, and those who worked for Mr. Combs’s companies implored her to return to him.”

Ms Ventura’s lawyer released a statement to Page Six following news of Monday’s raids.

“We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct,” Douglas Wigdor said.

Various other lawsuits have since been filed against the music mogul.

One woman alleged in late 2023 that she and her friend were raped by Combs and singer Aaron Hall in the early nineties, while another claimed that he gang-raped her in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

A spokesman for Combs has denied the accusations, describing them as “fabricated” and “a money grab” in a statement to Page Six.

Combs himself addressed some of the disturbing claims in an Instagram post in December.

“Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” he wrote.
