Meghan Markle has different approach to Prince Harry’s views on privacy, says expert

Meghan Markle’s attempt to break away from Prince Harry’s bid for privacy may signal she is plotting her next big move.

Meghan Markle appears to be using a different strategy to her privacy-seeking husband Prince Harry as she makes no attempt to “be anonymous” when out in public, according to an expert.

The Duchess of Sussex was recently spotted by photographers buying a bouquet of flowers while enjoying a stroll around a farmers’ market in her local neighbourhood of Montecito.

Body language expert Judi James said Meghan, who was flying solo for the outing while Prince Harry stayed away, “shops as though she’s still taking part in a Netflix series”.

The ever-stylish Duchess, who was wearing an unbuttoned white shirt over a camel-coloured maxi dress and carrying a straw bag, looked as if she was on an “idealised” A-list shopping trip.

The former TV actress made sure to “acknowledge the camera”, Ms James sad.

The body language expert said Meghan’s appearance was in stark contrast to Prince Harry, who is often seen wearing a baseball cap pulled down low and sunglasses while out in public to conceal his identity.

Ms James said Meghan’s alleged attempt to used her large handbag as a “form of barrier” didn’t quite work.

She said: “The bag looks like a form of barrier or attempt to hide here but her famously beautiful face is only partly hidden by the shades and unlike Harry, she hasn’t gone down the baseball cap route to try to be anonymous.

“She also seems to acknowledge the camera with a smile, rather than ducking out of sight.”

Ms James said Meghan’s latest outing could be a move to transition back to her previous life, when she ran her lifestyle blog, The Tig.

“As a statement though this seems to speak of the Meghan brand, veering towards The Tig lifestyle route,” she told The Mirror.

“She looks comfortable on this solo outing which might also be an attempt to show her relatable and accessible side rather than her regal one,” Ms James said.

It comes after a royal expert branded the pair’s latest award nomination for their explosive docuseries on Netflix a “PR stunt”.

The controversial Harry & Meghan six-parter received a nomination for Best Streaming Nonfiction Series from the Hollywood Critics Association TV Award.

The docuseries caused a global uproar with its explosive allegations and barbs aimed at the royal family.

But royal expert Kinsey Schofield has insisted the new award nomination is not well-meaning, The Express reports.

She told TalkTV: “This to me is the biggest PR stunt from the HCA trying to legitimise themselves because what they want is for Harry and Meghan to show up.

“It’s not even televised, nobody knows that this thing exists.“I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry and Meghan won this because it would give these people the most publicity they would ever have in their life if Harry and Meghan showed up and they actually might.”
