Rebel Wilson has had to make an emergency dash to the hospital to get stitches after undertaking a stunt which went horribly wrong on the set of her new movie.

The Australian actress took to Instagram to share an image of her injuries, updating fans on her welfare after a “stunt accident at 4am” Thursday on the Bride Hard set in Savannah, Georgia, had left her needing “three stitches”.

“NOT the way I wanted to end this movie,” Wilson added in the text on her image, which featured a close-up of her face showing a bloodied and swollen nose.

It comes after the mum-of-one recently admitted that she’s keen to have a second child.

The Pitch Perfect star, who welcomed baby daughter Royce via surrogate in November, told E! News last week that she and her fiancee, Ramona Agruma, would like to expand their family.

“It’s just like, well, is that possible? I have to do IVF. We’ll see how it goes,” she said, adding: “Roycie is such a miracle. And if she’s my only child, then amazing.”

The doting mum also gushed about how she “just melts” every time she sees her nine-month-old daughter, even if it’s just after a nap.

“The look Royce gives me and I give her, it’s like we’ve only maybe not seen each other for 45 minutes,” Wilson said.

“And she’s smiling like it’s the best thing that’s happened in her life that you’ve walked into the room. And then I’m like, ‘Oh, Roycie!’ And I just give her the biggest hugs.

“I thought I was going to be a strict parent. And everyone’s like, ‘No, no,’ I’m, like, so soft. Because I just melt every time I’m with her.”
