Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck can’t seem to beat the rumours that they are heading for divorce and these photos aren’t helping

Has anyone checked in on Jennifer Lopez? Because right now she’s in complete newly single “I’m fine” mode.

At this point, who knows if Lopez and Ben Affleck are together or not.

Neither has filed for divorce, but he didn’t attend her Bridgerton-themed birthday party and it has been reported the couple is selling the multimillion-dollar mansion they purchased together.

If you’ve ever watched someone go through a break-up, you know the signs.

The newly single are suddenly very active on social media. There are some very sexy photo posts, similar to the recent shot Lopez posted of her looking gorgeous in a white one-piece bathing suit.

They also post to let people know how much fun they are having. You know? The photos are designed to let everyone know they are fine and happy; they’ve never been happier.

Behind the scenes, there’s usually a fair bit of white wine, and a perhaps trying out a podcast that tells them to “fall in love with yourself next”.

If you asked them why they’ve become so active online, they’d say, “Oh, am I?”

It’s all coy, but we know the reason: They want their ex to think not only are they fine without them, but they’re better off without them.

It’s hard to tell at this point what is going on with Lopez and Affleck. Neither is commenting.

What we know for sure is that she put a lot of effort into her birthday. She threw a themed party and posted multiple photos of herself online looking like a princess.

It was pretty much her screaming at everyone, “Look how much fun I am having!”

She even posted a lengthy statement on Instagram about how thankful she was to her fans.

“Besides my family and friends, you have always been there for me in the good times and in the tough times. I can always count on you. And I want you to know that you can always count on me,” she gushed.

Do you know what that reminds me of? When someone starts posting photos of themselves with their mates joking they don’t need men or making a jab like “these are my real ride or dies”.

Nobody loves or appreciates their mates more than a single woman who needs to discuss every detail of her break-up again and again and again and also needs you to take photos of her where her bum looks big in a good way.

Plenty of women do this, and I’ve done it. It is part of the process of getting over someone in the modern age. You need to reclaim your social media and create a narrative that you’re moving on and okay.

Maybe I’m wrong; maybe she and Ben will be fine after all, but whatever is going on in reality, Jennifer Lopez has become a full single girl on Instagram.
