An actress who rose to fame as a teenager after starring in a hit 90s show has been spotted on a rare outing in Los Angeles.
Heart-throb Tiffani Thiessen is most well-known for her role as Kelly in beloved teen dramas Saved By The Bell (1989 – 1993) and as Valerie on Beverly Hills 90210 (1994 – 1998).
The now 51-year-old looked casual as she was out shopping, donning a simple burgundy hoodie and comfy black leggings.
She paired this with chunky beige sliders, an LA cap and a mustard cross-body handbag.
Thiessen has starred in other various projects throughout the years, such as television shows White Collar (2009 – 2014) and What About Brian (2007).
She also built a successful career in the culinary world, releasing two cookbooks focused on healthy eating and eliminating food waste.
Thiessen recently reflected upon her years on Saved By The Bell in an interview with People last year, saying that her memories of the show “seemed to get smaller and smaller” as time went on.
She said while she recalled filming special Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes for the show but added that they “never did holidays on set”.
“I don’t think we ever shot anytime near the holidays,” she told the outlet.
“If I remember correctly, I do remember a couple holiday episodes, and it was definitely fun.
“But as I’m getting older, my memories of that stuff seem to get smaller and smaller.”
While her children Harper, 14, and Holt, nine, also share her love of food, they have yet to follow in her acting footsteps.
In an interview with E! News last September, she said: “How crazy is that? I was in full-blown working mode at my daughter’s age.”
Thiessen revealed that she was “nervous” about joining the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 and “didn’t fully know what to expect”.
“Now, granted, I came from a show that I had that was very established as well,” she told US Weekly.
“But it’s like joining a friend group that has been friends for a long time and you’re the new one.
“You learn a lot from all different types of jobs and people right and so I have a lot of great memories.
“You know, there’s a lot of hard memories, but there was a lot of great memories.
“At the time when I started, I was actually dating Brian, played by Austin Green. That probably made it a little bit easier for me.”
Thiessen dated Green, 50, for three years between 1992 and 1995.
However, it seems the couple did have hard times being in a relationship and working together.
While appearing on the late Shannen Doherty’s Let’s Be Clear podcast, Green shared that he was often jealous when Thiessen filmed intimate scenes with other castmates.
“I’d never been in a real serious relationship before,” he said at the time.
“I was incredibly jealous every time she would f**king have to work with anybody else because we’d already been doing the show for four years. Like, this is my family.
“I used to bring Tiffani to events so she knew everybody from then and then all of a sudden she’s doing sex scenes … with people that were like my family and my brothers.
“It was strange. I remember I was really just f**king jealous and boisterous.”
In response, Thiessen told the outlet that she “had a lot of different emotions” about that time in her life.
“I had a boyfriend who definitely was probably not the most secure with me being there,” she explained.
“I also had my own insecurities about being on a job that, again, was very established.
“There were relationships that were super close that I wasn’t a part of.
“It was definitely stressful and hard.”
