Ruby Rose says she is girlfriend Jessica Origliasso’s ‘protector’ amid public spat with Lisa Origliasso

RUBY Rose has hinted that she will keep sticking up for her Veronica’s girlfriend amid a public falling out with her love’s twin sister.

RUBY Rose may have deleted tweets slamming her girlfriend’s twin sister but she has showed that she is ready for a fight if it comes to that.

Rose, 31, shared a picture of Jessica Origliasso asleep on her, captioning the pic “Look at my pet koala!!”

She then wrote “I’m always woke tho because I’m her little protector.”

It comes after Rose hit out at a tweet by Lisa Origliasso of The Veronicas celebrating Australia’s same-sex marriage vote.

The Orange is the New Black star claims that Lisa, who is twin sisters and band mates with Rose’s girlfriend Jessica, said the pair was “lucky they don’t get stoned to death like they do in other countries” for being gay.

“So glad to see Lisa Origliasso screaming in excitement about the yes vote after telling us she thinks we should feel ‘lucky’ we don’t get stoned to death like they do in other countries and to get over it a few months ago,’ the Pitch Perfect 2 actress wrote in her shocking Tweet. “Really warms my heart.”

Rose dated Jessica back in 2009 and the pair rekindled the flame late last year when they filmed the videoclip for the song On Your Side, which showed them writhing all over each other.

After that, Rose unfollowed Lisa on Twitter in April and Jessica did the same in September.

Lisa doesn’t appear to follow her twin sister or Rose on social media.

The sisters seemed to hint that they had had a falling out after Jessica criticised the ARIA Awards for not nominating their video for single On Your Side.

When news.com.au reported that story as “Veronicas not happy”, Lisa jumped in: “Jessica Veronica. Not The Veronica’s.”

Lisa, who is engaged to actor Logan Huffman, is yet to comment on Rose’s since-deleted tweet.

Huffman shared a picture of himself and Lisa at a gender equality march, writing “YES!!!!! Congratulations Australia!!!!’

“Let’s plan a wedding now,” Lisa wrote back.

“I’m ready,” he replied.

Ruby Rose and Catherine McNeil, seen here in the Girlfriend Model Search, were engaged.

Jessica used to date Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, while Rose has been engaged four times; to models Lyndsey Anne McMillan, Catherine McNeil, then to fashion designer Phoebe Dahl and also to fashion publicist, Lia-Belle King.

No word what the spat means for the future of The Veronica’s.
