Reality TV personality Raquel Leviss has checked into a facility to receive treatment for her mental health amid the drama surrounding her and Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Sandoval’s affair.

“Raquel and her family decided months before the relationship was discovered that she needed mental health treatment and ultimately decided she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counselling,” the TV star’s rep tells Page Six.

“Raquel was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment.”

The rep adds that the US network behind Vanderpump Rules, Bravo, and the show’s production team “were aware” and are “in support of her journey towards better mental health”.

Leviss’ representative also clarifies that the reality star, 28, is not in the facility for rehab but rather “mental health and trauma therapy.”

An insider tells us exclusively that Leviss has “been there” for some time and did not recently enter.

Entertainment Tonight was the first to report the news.

Sandoval, 40, had been in a nine-year relationship with Vanderpump Rules co-star Ariana Madix when he and Leviss started having an affair, which was exposed in early March.

Following the shocking news, Leviss released an apology statement sharing that she was seeing a counsellor.

“I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counsellor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of co-dependency and addiction to being and feeling loved,” her statement read.

In her initial apology statement, Leviss said she was seeing a counsellor.

“I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own wellbeing, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritising the intimate connections over my friendships.”

She concluded her message by saying she had begun to end her “unhealthy behavioural cycle” and was starting to “learn to protect” her mental health.

“I don’t expect sympathy, understanding or forgiveness,” she wrote. “Right now I must focus on my own health and well being as I strive to be a better person moving forward.”

Although Leviss appeared at the “nuclear” Pump Rules reunion taping, she has not been heard from in any capacity since and has been keeping a low profile.

Sandoval, meanwhile, gave a tell-all interview to Howie Mandel in which he said he and Leviss have hit the pause button on their sexual relationship.
