The Aussie influencer who was dumped by JoJo Siwa this week has addressed claims they asked their ex for a “business class” ticket after their split.

JoJo Siwa’s ex Australian partner has hilariously hit back at claims they asked for a “business class” ticket home after being dumped in London.

Kath Ebbs, the 27-year-old Sydney-based content creator, is at the centre of global discourse this week after their relationship with US pop star Siwa, 21, came to an abrupt end after five months.

Siwa, a former child star on Dance Moms who forged a successful solo singing career in her teens, raised eyebrows for her flirty behaviour with UK TV star Chris Hughes on Celebrity Big Brother.

Ebbs later claimed on TikTok they flew from Australia to London to support Siwa upon her exit from the house, only to be brutally dumped by Siwa at the show’s wrap party.

Siwa, who came out as gay in 2021, defended her decision to end her relationship, before expressing her frustration at Ebbs for airing the details on social media and then “asking for a business class flight” home.

“You don’t get to have it both ways. You don’t get to ask me for a business class flight home and then do that, when I already got you a plane ticket home,” Siwa said on The Viall Files podcast.

“I said, ‘You posted the video again, you didn’t give any context. I don’t feel comfortable asking my team to do that right now. It’s a mess and we had a long talk about it not being a mess anymore.’”

Subtly addressing the comments made by their ex, Ebbs took to TikTok with a sarcastic video returning home, joking about their “humiliating” ordeal travelling economy.

“Returning home after flying ECONOMY,” Ebbs wrote atop a clip walking through the front door, luggage in hand, before collapsing on the ground in tears.

Adding in the caption, Ebbs wrote, “Nothing more humiliating than flying in that middle seat.”

Thousands of users hit the comment section of the video, including the official TikTok account for Jetstar, which wrote, “This is iconic.”

“Our economy queen,” another said.

“This is the best response ever,” a third wrote, while a fourth chimed in, “This has won the internet today.”

There was plenty of support for Siwa, with many arguing the multi-millionaire, estimated to be worth $US20 million, shouldn’t be expected to fund Ebbs’ lifestyle.

However, one Aussie returned serve, “To all the Americans in the comments section, just a heads up this is sarcastic Aussie humour. Kath is just trolling JoJo.”

Siwa went on a media blitz post Big Brother, with her headline-making break-up, and her potential new romance with Hughes, leading the conversation.

Speaking on UK breakfast program This Morning alongside Hughes, Siwa said it was “not the plan” to dump Ebbs at the after-party.

Siwa said Ebbs – who uses they/them pronouns – had expressed no desire to attend the afterparty in London, only to change their mind before the event.

“Initially, I was told that the wrap party was something they didn’t want to attend and then about an hour into the wrap party they decided they wanted to,” Siwa shared.

Siwa said that she had wanted to discuss the state of their months-long relationship before the party but never got around to it. So when Ebbs asked her at the event if she was happy in their relationship, Siwa was forced to admit she was not.

“I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before and then it just led to another,” she recalled. “One thing led to another, and that conversation did take place there.”

The pair are yet to address the status of their relationship.

“I knew as soon as I got out I wanted to fix things in my life and make the changes that I needed to make,” Siwa added.

“You have this experience that’s so exhilarating, it’s 20 days, but it feels like it’s four and a half years. And the first thing you want to do when you get out is just exactly what you need to do in your life to make it as good as you can.”

While Siwa and Hughes are yet to confirm romance talk, Hughes did refer to the singer as his “soulmate” during the same interview.

“It’s just a really strong bond between two people, which is just a strong friendship,” Hughes said.

“And I think you can have like a soulmate friendship. Having someone in there to go through an experience like that and have someone there every day when you’re emotional when you’re down when you’re happy – that was beautiful.”
