JOSHUA Jackson and Diane Kruger, one of Hollywood’s longest-running couples, have called it quits after a decade together.

The pair had been plagued by rumours of relationship troubles in recent months.

Reps for both stars released statements today, confirming the news and insisting they intend to stay friends.

Kruger starting dating Jackson in 2006, after splitting with her husband of five years, French director Guillaume Canet.

In 2014, Dawsons Creek star Jackson opened up about why the longtime pair had never gotten married.

“I can tell you why we’re not married — we’re not religious,” he explained toUSGlamour magazine.

“I don’t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party. We’re both children of divorce, so it’s hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you’ve grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married.”

Recently, Kruger’s worryingly thin frame on the red carpet at a Paris film premiere had raised concerns over her health and wellbeing.
