A private star has finally revealed the father of her newborn baby and put the relentless rumours to rest.

Jessie J has finally revealed the father of her newborn baby in a sweet Instagram post.

The singer and songwriter announced she’d given birth to a healthy baby boy in May, but there was still a question mark over who the father was because she’s been so private about her dating life.

In 2021 Jessie shared on Instagram that she’d taken the plunge and decided to have a baby “on her own” but sadly had suffered a miscarriage.

“I’m still in shock; the sadness is overwhelming. But I know I am strong, and I know I will be OK. I also know millions of women worldwide have felt this pain and way worse. I feel connected to those of you I know and those of you I don’t. It’s the loneliest feeling in the world.”

In January this year, she shared that she was pregnant again and was thrilled by the news.

“I am so happy and terrified to share this finally. … Please be gentle with me,” she wrote, adding that she was craving chocolate and pickles.

She didn’t mention the dad to be, and although she documented her pregnancy journey on Instagram and was spotted proudly showing off her belly at red-carpet events, she never said who the father was.

Now the mystery has been solved as Jessie posted a loving tribute to her son’s father on Instagram alongside a sweet snap with a photo of his hand.

“I struggle to keep things private. I think if you know me, you know that. Lol. I want to protect people I love and keep it for just myself … And then I often think, f**k it because life is short, but I don’t want to regret it. Once you open, the door can’t close it,” she shared.

“But … I met this man weeks after my miscarriage in 2021, like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days. It was a whirlwind of love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue. Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life. He didn’t let go of my hand this day, and I wouldn’t be able to go through it without him. The calm to my crazy. The peace to my fear. The Daddy to my baby. Thank you.”

The news isn’t a total surprise because she’d been linked to the Danish-Israeli basketball player Chanan Safir Colman before, but the two have never posted each other on social media, and she’s remained coy about the relationship.

Jessie J has never officially commented on the relationship before.

Still, when she appeared on The Diary of a CEO podcast, she admitted she’d only ever been in love once.

“I can actually see my life with that person, and I’ve never had that before,” she shared

Host Steven Bartlet tried to get more details and said: “Sounds recent.”

Jessie didn’t reveal any more and teased: “Maybe it is.”

In May, when Jessie J revealed that she’d given birth to a healthy boy, she took to Instagram and waxed lyrical about becoming a mum for the first time.

“A week ago, my whole life changed. My son entered this world, and my heart grew twice its size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true,” she wrote.

The pop singer also told everyone that she and the baby were doing “great”. However, she’s still kept some details to herself, and there is no news on her son’s name.
