Friends say Sam Frost ‘picked the wrong guy’

RUMOURS are doing the rounds that Sam Frost is already regretting her final choice, telling friends she “made a terrible mistake”.

IT’S Bachelorette finale week, so naturally the rumour mill is in full swing, with reports Sam Frost is regretting her final choice and might not remain with her chosen man for long.

New Idea magazine is reporting the 26-year-old brunette confessed to a close friend she “got it wrong” in the show’s season finale, which will air on Thursday night but was filmed several months ago.

“She’s told us that she picked the wrong guy — she’s really kicking herself,” the friend told the magazine.

“While she’s staying mum on who the guy is because she doesn’t want to violate the show’s confidentiality agreement, she broke down last week and told us she’s made a terrible mistake,” they said.

It’s down to the final three blokes on Ten’s premiere season of The Bachelorette — Richie Strahan, Sasha Mielczarek and Michael Turnbull, and friends say Sam is now facing the possibility of another very public split.

“She chose a guy based on good looks and lust — and now she realises that’s just not sustainable for a long-term relationship.

“She’s torn between two lovers — the guy she picked and the guy she has secret feelings for. It’s a nightmare for her,” the source added.

There are reports that Sam actually proposes during Thursday night’s big finale, which was filmed in New Zealand.

“I’m not your traditional woman and I think it would be romantic to propose,” she told Woman’s Day magazine.

“I mean, I’ve met the love of my life in an unconventional way, so why not keep it rolling for the rest of our lives?”

Sam added of her chosen beau: “He’s going to be moving here to Sydney. We’re talking about living arrangements and all sorts of things. It’s day-by-day, but at the same time we’re both very excited.”

Sam said the first thing the couple plans to do once they are able to go public with their relationship is “take a long holiday together”.
