Britney Spears has sparked concern after disappearing from social media days after expressing her frustration surrounding her new memoir.

Britney Spears has sparked concern from fans after disappearing from social media after sharing her frustration with how her bombshell memoir is being received.

Spears’ new book, The Woman In Me, is set to hit shelves next week. However, it’s already sparked a media frenzy after excerpts from the memoir leaked ahead of it being published.

On Friday, Spears took to Instagram to hit our at the way the book is being portrayed and shared her frustrations with her name being back in headlines.

However, she has since deactivated her account, leaving fans worried about her in the process.

“I don’t like the headlines I am reading,” she wrote the day before leaving Instagram. “That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago !!!”

“I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life !!!” she added. “Either way that is the last of it and s – t happens !!!

“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt on misunderstood !!!”

Spears, who has become known for using Instagram as a way to vent, then claimed the media frenzy around the memoir was “dumb” and insisted that she’s “moved on” from the people who wronged her in the past, like ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

“Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly !!!” she wrote in her latest post. “I have moved on since then !!!”

Some of the most shocking revelations made so far in the memoir involve Timberlake, and include her claim that the singer urged her to get an abortion after she fell pregnant while they were together.

The Princess of Pop also claimed that Timberlake cheated on her with “another celebrity” during their three-year relationship.

She also admitted in her forthcoming memoir that she cheated on Timberlake with dancer Wade Robson.

Despite all of Spears’ claims, the 10-time Grammy winner has not yet publicly responded to the excerpts from the book.

However, sources told Page Six exclusively that the *NSYNC member had been “concerned” about what the Toxic singer would disclose from their time together.

“It’s eating at him,” one insider told the outlet, though another insisted The Woman in Me was not intended to be “a take-down.”
