Jada Pinkett-Smith’s memoir disappoints in the charts

The Hollywood actress has released a new tell-all book — but it doesn’t appear to have had the impact she may have hoped for.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s tell-all memoir appears to be not attracting the amount of attention the star may have expected.

Smith has been promoting the book — called Worthy — recently, and many of her wild stories have hit headlines around the world.

However, it doesn’t seem to have translated into sales for the memoir.

On Amazon, the world’s most popular book-selling site, Smith’s memoir has fallen below number 80 on the best-selling list.

Meanwhile, it also failed to make the top 100 on the Kindle e-reader chart, where it had only sold 2,700 copies by the end of last week, according to Newsweek.

On Barnes & Noble and the Publishers Weekly lists, Worthy also failed to crack the Top 100.

To make matters worse for Smith, other celebrity memoirs from the likes of Britney Spears and John Stamos both appeared to be outselling hers by a wide margin.

Smith hit headlines last week when she appeared to claim she has been separated from her husband, Will Smith, for years.

However, she later seemingly walked back on her remarks and claimed that they had been misconstrued.

She told US Today Show that she and the actor are actually “working very hard” at saving their marriage.

“We are working very hard at bringing our relationship, yes, bringing our relationship back together … Back to a life partnership, yes,” she told host Hoda Kotb.

“Husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process. I came into that with very specific ideas, right? Very specific ideas that were blocks. To me, just seeing Will, who he is — he can’t be this perfect idealised husband.

“I have to be able to accept him for the human he is. He accepts me for the human that I am, and we want to love each other there. We really have been working hard,” she added.
