Oscars 2025: All the winners and nominees from Hollywood’s big night

The 2025 winners have now been announced, including one film that swept the awards, taking home five out of six gongs it was nominated for.

Emilia Pérez leads 2025 Oscar nominations

The Oscars, where the biggest names in Hollywood get all dolled up to celebrate the best in motion picture, has officially wrapped for another year.

First-time Oscars nominee Mikey Madison has won Best Actress.

It may come as a surprise to some viewers as Demi Moore was predicted to be a shoo-in for the Best Actress trophy after her clean sweep of awards at the BAFTAs, Golden Globes and, most recently, the SAGs for her role in indie film The Substance.

But Anora – a film about young escort from Brooklyn who impulsively marries the son of a Russian oligarch – has had a great run, taking home five of the six Oscars it was nominated for, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Adrien Brody has taken home the Oscar for Best Actor for a second time (his first win was in 2003 for his lead role in The Pianist), while Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor and Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress.

This year’s ceremony was hosted by Conan O’Brien and held at the Dolby Theatre in LA, broadcasting locally on Seven and 7plus. Scroll down for all the winners.

Culkin won the first award of the night, reminding his wife Jazz Charton in his winning speech that just over a year ago she promised him four children if he won an Oscar.

Star's wife shocked by wild Oscars speech

“She turned to me and said that she would give me four when I win an Oscar,” Culkin said.

“I held my hand out and she shook it, and I have not brought it up once until just now.”

Addressing his wife in the audience, he continued: “No pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again. And let’s get cracking on those kids, what do you say?”

A smiling Charton shook her head and mouthed “no”.

The couple have two children; Kinsey Sioux, 5, and son Wilder Wolf, 3.

Leading the Oscars race was musical thriller Emilia Pérez with a whopping 13 nominations (including Best Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón, who recently came under fire after her racist and Islamophobic tweets resurfaced). It won two awards.

The smash-hit musical adaptation of Wicked and the architectural epic The Brutalist scored 10 nods each. Those films each won two and three awards, respectively.

Aussie actor Guy Pearce received his first ever Oscar nom with a Best Supporting Actor nomination for the The Brutalist, but the award went to Culkin for A Real Pain.

Vatican drama Conclave, starring Ralph Fiennes, and Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown tied in third spot with eight nominations apiece. Conclave won Best Adapted Screenplay, while the latter did not pick up any awards.
