Television’s night of nights has kicked off on in Los Angeles, after the biggest stars of the small screen graced the red carpet at the Microsoft Theatre.
It’s set to be a buzzy night for Hollywood, with the two previous Emmys marred by the Covid-19 pandemic.
HBO series The White Lotus picked up several awards early on, winning Outstanding Supporting Actor for Aussie Murray Bartlett, Best Supporting Actress for Jennifer Coolidge and a double gong for Mike White who picked up Best Director and Writer.
The winning streak continued later in the night, with The White Lotus winning Best Limited Series.
