Hollywood action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger had a perfect response to a Twitter troll claiming he’s let his body go – and he didn’t even need to say a word.

Schwarzenegger, 75, responded to a fan’s tweet about his Netflix show Fubar, an action spy series that sees him star in his first TV role as CIA agent Luke Brunner.

“Just finished watching #FUBAR on @NetflixBrasil. @Schwarzenegger is back! We need season 2!!” one fan tweeted, along with a gif of Arnie’s recognisably muscular arm.

“Thanks for watching,” said Schwarzennerger – until another Twitter user spoiled the fun.

“That’s Arnold’s bicep in Predator back in the 1980s, he won’t show his biceps now, it’s disappointing that he doesn’t keep them looking good, even at 75 a man can have nice biceps,” the person wrote.

Arnie’s fans rushed to defend him: “The man has had multiple heart surgeries. Show some respect,” wrote one person, while another insisted that “at 75, he would still crush you.”

But Arnie himself had the best clapback to the claim he doesn’t keep himself in shape, responding to the tweet with a photo of himself pumping iron in the gym – biceps still pumping at 75 years old:

Fans marvelled at Arnie’s still-jacked physique.

“Age is really just a number in bodybuilding,” said one, while another joked: “Dude, you have to stop at some point, you’re making us all look bad!”

Schwarzenneger recently opened up about his workout routine – and how he’s had to adjust it following several heart surgeries – in a recent interview with Men’s Health.

“After having several heart surgeries, and surgery on my shoulders, knees, and those kinds of things, it’s important to protect my body and do therapy training at the same time,” he told the outlet.

Schwarzenegger told Men’s Health he still works out every morning at a public gym near his house, but that nowadays, his focus has changed: “It’s not about working out with the heaviest weights; I’m just trying to move as fast as I can from one exercise to the next,” he said.
