2025 TV Week Gold Logie, Silver Logie, Most Popular Presenter nominees revealed

The nominees for Australian television’s greatest gong have been revealed. See who’s in the running for the 2025 Gold Logie – and all the biggest awards.

With the odds stacked against him, it might be awkward if two-time Gold Logie winner Hamish Blake takes home the trophy for a third time in 2025.

Blake is the sole male up against four first-time nominees in the category and two returning candidates.

“What an awesome field, six women and one guy,” Sonia Kruger, who won Gold in ? , told The Daily Telegraph.

“It feels to me like one of those movies, Steel Magnolias meets Coyote Ugly and Hamish is our gay best friend. Historically this would have to be the highest number of women nominated so it is going to be really awkward if Hamish wins.”

Kruger and Julia Morris are returning nominees, competing alongside newcomers to the category in Lisa Millar, Ally Langdon, Poh Ling Yeow and Lynne McGranger.

“It is a bit of a reverse crunch,” said Morris, host of I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

“I feel like it is the first time that has happened but there is not a single person on that stage that you feel like they’ve been put there because they are a lady.

“There is a shed load of cred in that selection of people and I love that there is literally something for everybody.”

Blake, host of LEGO Masters, seemed to be embracing the BFF tag gifted by Kruger.

“I think it is an awesome bunch. The ladies have been lovely, we are a real sisterhood,” he joked.

A Current Affair’s Langdon said: “We have just decided that Hamish is an honorary girl for this process and he is leaning into that, he is very much okay with it.”

Ling Yeow has come full circle in her “wild” TV career, starting as a contestant on MasterChef and now a judge on the show.

“Nothing about this is natural, it is all extraordinary, it is fairytale stuff.” she said.

“But I guess I have to look back and realise that it has been a while since I first hit the screens in season one so it feels very satisfying, I am not going to lie. Coming from a migrant background and feeling so out of place as a kid and now just feeling so appreciated is very meaningful for me.”

The 65th annual TV Week Logie Awards were revealed at the Sydney Opera House early Monday morning with the red carpet ceremony to be held at The Star on August 3.
