OP NUMBERS: Toowoomba's top schools share their results

ONE Toowoomba school is celebrating its best OP results in nearly two decades. Find out the results from some of our top schools across the region.

ONE Toowoomba school is celebrating its best OP results in nearly two decades.

Seven students at Fairholme College achieved an OP1, while 32% achieved between 1-5.

More than 70% of students at the school achieved an OP 1-10, while 94% achieved a 1 and 15

Other schools have taken to social media to express delight at their results.

Six students at Toowoomba Grammar were the recipients of an OP1, while 27.7% achieved an OP1-5 and 95.6% a 1-15.

"These figures represent the hard work of our boys and the efforts of the teachers to support them in achieving such fine academic outcomes. We congratulate all our boys on these fine results and look forward to learning of their tertiary destinations," the school said.

OP1 recipients

Three students from the 2018 class at Toowoomba State High School received an OP1, while six students achieved an OP2. 

Two-thirds of students at TSHS achieved an OP1-10.

St Saviour's was also the recipient of some good OP news on Saturday morning.

College Captain Jana Dela Cruz received an OP1 and 100 per cent of the graduating class achieving an OP1-15.

Other schools across the Garden City are yet to release their OP results.

  • OP1 (Toowoomba Grammar School): Mark Anderson, Tom Dolzan, Ahmed Hafeez-Baig, Isa Kasim, Mitchell Leeson and Harry Schatz.
  • OP1 (Concordia Lutheran College): Ben Mitchell, Beau Andrews and Braden Jericho
