St Mary's College Toowoomba principal Michael Newman said he was proud of the excellent achievements of the students, in particular the improvement in the academic area.

"To have expert teachers in every classroom is our goal, teachers who examine the impact of their teaching on students," Mr Newman said.

"This allows us to customise learning to ensure the best outcome for every boy."
