FROM a new east Asian food stall, to fashion boutiques, motoring stores and mattress store, several businesses have opened up shop at Grand Central.
Eats of Asia has opened in Grand Central's food court by a chef who has cooked for the Queen.
Owner Tony Cheng came to Australia from Hong Kong when he was 22 and completed a cooking apprenticeship at the Hilton.
Tony has a long history in the food and beverage industry spanning over 40 years where he has worked, owned and operated numerous restaurants throughout Australia.
Tony worked in the largest Chinese restaurant in China Town in Sydney where he was lucky enough to cook for the Queen when she visited Australia many years ago
He said Eats of Asia is a new brand he had developed.
Fox and Willow
Local Toowoomba Boutique Fox and Willow has also opened a new pop-up store on level 1, near the centre court.
Owner Kate Duncan said the boutique worked hard to collect some of the best labels from Australia in one place.
"Fox and Willow Boutique are extremely proud to open in our new larger location in Grand Central Shopping Centre," Ms Duncan said.
"The first locally owned fashion boutique to open alongside multi-chain national stores; I am happy to be able to bring some of Australia's best designers to Toowoomba.
"Customer Service is still our number one priority, delivering that intimate one on one boutique feel to your shopping experience. We look forward to seeing you in our new store."
Forty Winks
Forty Winks has also opened a store at Grand Central.
Spokesman Adam Healey said the store was the newest of about 100 across the country.
"We are excited to be located at the convenient location of Grand Central with a product range suited to different sleep needs," he said.
"Our aim is to help our local customers find a bed that is matched perfectly to them. We are serious about sleep and want our customers to reap the many benefits of a good night's rest."
Toowoomba Motor Group
Toowoomba Motor Group has opened Toowoomba's first ever servicing and sales centre within Grand Central.
The store can be found at the base of the Food Court near the Myer entrance.
The Kia store is not only open for people to browse the high quality, new vehicles but to also drop off your existing preloved vehicle for servicing whilst you conveniently browse through some of Toowoomba's latest stores or catch up with a friend over lunch.
Toowoomba Motor Group's dealer principal Bruce Partridge said the store's team were proud to open in Grand Central.
"We are overwhelmed with the positive feedback received to date that we are listening and meeting the demands of our very busy clientele," he said.
"Toowoomba Motor Group wanted to be able to help our clientele by relieving the pressure of having to make a special trip into the dealership, whether it be to purchase a new vehicle, drop a vehicle off for servicing or to pick up a part."
Concierge Car Wash
A new car wash has also opened in the centre.
Concierge Car Wash general manager Jake Matthews said the stored offered premium hand wash services and full vehicle detailing, and is located just inside the Little Street car park entry.
"Concierge Car Wash is so excited to have opened in Grand Central," he said.
"Our Concierge group is unlike any other. We have over 30 years' experience in the motor vehicle industry and we offer everything from Express Wash to a Super Wash.
"Stop by today and let our car wash experts help you decide what wash is best for your car."
Currency exchange service Travelex has also opened a store on Level 1 of Grand Central.
