Pure Hydrogen executes agreement to access Hydrexia’s hydrogen technology solutions and products
Access to Hydrexia’s mobile hydrogen refuelling stations along with service support for installations
Agreement expected to increase company’s ability to deliver integrated hydrogen solutions
Special Report: Pure Hydrogen has executed a commercial agreement to access Hydrexia Holding’s hydrogen technology solutions and products.
Under the agreement, Hydrexia – an integrated hydrogen technology solution provider with a considerable international presence – will provide the company with access to its mobile hydrogen refuelling stations in a phased delivery along with service support for installations.
This will enhance Pure Hydrogen’s (ASX:PH2) ability to deliver integrated hydrogen solutions and reinforces its ongoing commitment to decarbonising industries within Australia and internationally.
Access to Hydrexia’s technology represents a key step in improving the performance and functionality of its offerings, positioning the company to capitalise on the expanding global demand for sustainable energy alternatives.
“We are pleased to formalise this partnership with Hydrexia, a leading hydrogen technology solution provider that shares our commitment to advancing the hydrogen economy,” managing director Scott Brown said.
“Pure Hydrogen has chosen to partner with Hydrexia and outsource their cutting-edge hydrogen technology because we are committed to offering the best solutions in the industry.
“This partnership will not only strengthen our position in the market but also enable us to leverage Hydrexia’s customised hydrogen technology solutions, which we believe will add significant value in supporting the development of mobile hydrogen refuelling stations.”
Hydrexia chairman & CEO Alex Fang said the company was “honoured” to participate as a solution provider in PH2’s strategy to develop a hydrogen economy, from production to end-use.
“By leveraging our innovative hydrogen refuelling station technology, we are delighted to contribute to this important initiative,” he added.
Making progress
Earlier this month, PH2 executed a landmark US$28m supply deal with Mexico City-based GreenH2 LATAM for hydrogen equipment supply.
It comes as Mexico’s recently elected President Claudia Sheinbaum set an ambitious goal to boost renewable energy to 45% of Mexico’s electricity production by 2030.
Under the agreement, the company will be the preferred supplier on two projects in Mexico for the supply of hydrogen equipment – including four 2.5MW electrolysers, hydrogen compression and refuelling equipment, and hydrogen storage and transport equipment.
GreenH2 LATAM also has the opportunity to maintain distribution exclusivity in Mexico and Colombia by generating a minimum of US$20m in net sales revenue per year from the sale of equipment supplied by PH2.
In March 2025, PH2 won its first order for a hydrogen fuel-cell powered concrete agitator truck from Heidelberg Materials Australia, adding to a separate deal with TOLL Transport for two HFC prime movers.
