EZZ boosts retail presence with new pharmacy deal

Special Reports: Genomic life science company EZZ Life Science will expand its pharmacy and retail distribution network after inking a partnership with major pharmacy chain Direct Chemist Outlet (DCO).

Under the partnership EZZ Life Science (ASX:EZZ) will stock its flagship products in a selection of DCO’s 130 locations around Australia, reinforcing its omnichannel growth strategy and presence across online channels, duty free stores and 700 other pharmacies.

EZZ’s omnichannel strategy aims to create a seamless customer experience across online platforms, physical stores and other retail touchpoints.

The company has been working to strengthen its pharmacy and retail presence in Australia, supporting its strong online sales performance and international growth.

Robust marketing to support rollout

The staged rollout will take place over the next 2–3 months with DCO to stock a curated selection of EZZ’s most sought-after health and wellness products, including:

  • Bone Growth Chews
  • L-Lysine Growth Capsules
  • Joint Energy Boost Tablets
  • Heart Health Capsules
  • Mount Peak Ashwagandha Tablets
  • Sugar Metabolism Capsules
  • Children's Eye Health Tablets
  • Hair Protector Tablets
  • Luminescent Beauty Tablets
  • Liver Tonic Tablets
  • Magnesium Plus Tablets
  • Daily Energy and Wellbeing Tablets

The partnership will be supported by a robust marketing campaign, including special launch promotions, educational video content in stores, and a feature in DCO’s store-wide catalogue.

Plans to expand in US on track

In March EZZ announced it had entered into a manufacturing agreement with GLSP Inc to serve as its US-based manufacturer as it plans to enter the world’s largest healthcare market in H2 FY25.

GLSP will manufacture EZZ-branded dietary supplements in compliance with US FDA regulations and ISO-certified quality standards.

The company said establishing a local manufacturing presence in the US would ensure enhanced production efficiencies, improved supply chain logistics and strengthen its market positioning in North America.

The FDA approved nine of the company’s products in the food category in 2024.

EZZ Chair Glenn Cross said the company’s expanding footprint in offline retail aligns with its mission to provide scientifically backed health solutions to consumers through multiple distribution channels.
