One-stop health, lifestyle shop opens in Highfields

After rebranding from TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacy, the new store combines traditional pharmacy services with an extensive range of health, wellbeing, and lifestyle products.

Toowoomba and Highfields locals are invited to explore the region’s newest one-stop health shop, with the official opening of WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods.

Having opened its doors in December, after rebranding from TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacy, the new store combines traditional pharmacy services with an extensive range of health, wellbeing, and lifestyle products.

WholeLife had its grand opening today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by local MP Garth Hamilton and a full day of free family activities including face-painting and sampling of natural and organic treats.

As one of Australia’s most unique pharmacy and wellness destinations, WholeLife aims to introduce Highfields and Toowoomba residents to holistic services including naturopathy and aromatherapy.

At WholeLife customers can also find a diverse range of organic foods, vegan and gluten-free options, natural cleaning supplies, eco baby and pet care brands.

Highfields WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods franchisee partner Chris Owen said moving from a traditional pharmacy model to a merged holistic health and wellness pharmacy highlighted the shift in consumer behaviour and the local approach to healthcare.

“Transitioning from a traditional pharmacy has been somewhat of a milestone for myself and the team,” he said.

“There’s a growing preference for eco-friendly and sustainable products, as well as natural and holistic, whole health services, which we are now proud to offer.

“We still provide a traditional pharmacy offering with a great team of trained professionals in both traditional and non-traditional healthcare, but now we also offer holistic health services and a wide range of products to support all diet choices, like organic, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.

“Our customers can also feel good about supporting the local economy through our range of natural and organic products, many of which are sourced locally from across the region.”

WholeLife Pharmacy and Healthfoods is located in Highfields Village Shopping Centre.
