THE future of a Toowoomba pub which shut in 2018 has been revealed.
The former Delacy’s Hotel has undergone extensive renovations to turn it into a large meat and produce showroom.
The venue, which will be known as The Paddock, was the brain child of the Ellison family, which has a long history in the cattle and butcher industries.
A spokesperson for the store said the family had seen an increasing demand for locally-sourced, chemical-free, pasture-fed meat.
“Last year the decision was made to find a dedicated premises to grow and expand our business and rebrand into a larger more convenient retail space and drive thru,” they said.
“In just a few short weeks the doors will open to what we believe will be a unique shopping experience for local families and foodies alike, and we could not be prouder.”
The Paddock will stock fresh beef, pork, lamb, chicken, fruit, veggies, eggs milk, cheese and more.
