Closing date approaches for nominations in 2020 Toowoomba Business Excellence Awards

THERE are just three days until applications close for this year’s Focus HR Business Excellence Awards.

The revised application process has been simplified, with a nomination to require a short written application, judges’ site visits and a short video where applicants have the opportunity to describe who they are, what their business does and what makes their business award-winning.

Chamber chief executive officer Todd Rohl said he wanted the awards to showcase, celebrate, recognise and promote the city’s business community.

“The Focus HR Business Excellence Awards in 2020 will acknowledge the challenging year so far, but more importantly, recognise their strength, aptitude and resilience during 2020,” he said.

“We are excited to see applications coming through over the next four days.

“It just shows that the enthusiasm within the business community is there.”

The business community’s night of nights will feature black-tie awards evening on December 12 at the Empire Theatre.

Applications for the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards close at 5pm, October 15.
