Ukraine invasion: Russian ground forces cross into Ukraine: guards

Hours after Russia attacked and says it 'eliminated' Kyiv air defence systems, Ukraine border guards say Russia's ground troops and tanks have crossed into the country from several directions.

Vladimir Putin has declared war on Ukraine in what the Kremlin has called a “special military operation”, warning foreign nations to keep out of the way or endure “consequences as [they] have never experienced”.
